This was so fun and so unique! Kids loved it, as did we. Great, comfy choice of 5 single beds with awesome cozy bedding. The inside felt luxurious, and we stayed toasty warm with a heater inside. The sweet owners, in the morning had the cutest spread of small bites and coffee. And the shower rooms/bathhouse were incredibly clean and well-appointed. We are already planning another trip next Spring.

I stayed in one of the cabins. It was so cute (and has a/c which was great for the hot day I stayed here). The owners are super friendly and helpful. Very easy drive to the east entrance of Yellowstone.

From Laura’s initial welcome and explanation of how they operate it was a wonderful experience. While walking to a bathroom is a pain, the facilities are immaculate. Loved the early morning pastries, fruit and beverages. Just understand you are staying at a campground but a first class campground.

It’s a really beautiful place! We had a comfortable cabin and some simple but great breakfast. There also some animal which are so cute! There is also a beautiful lack just nearby. Really recommend!

Obvious from current property descr other travelers have experienced similar issues.I did not know private baths were not available(when booked)that it is a camp site for tipis,RVs with cabins.I am immune compromised /would never have booked such a place. Never.Even if there was not a raging pandemic.Especially in a pandemic.We arrived late.Owner left our rooms unlocked.She came out to greet us/explain about the “bath” house/ port-a-potty.I was horrified.Real bath houses have attendant.The attendant cleans after each use.No attendant. impossible to tell when showers had last been used or cleaned.If the mat outside the shower had been changed.The toilets did not have seat covers.Up by the “cabins” there was a port-a-potty in the middle.No lights to get to the port-a-potty, no path or lights from the “cabins” to the ‘bath’ house.Across an uneven field.The owner had some sort of wild bird or animal that screeched periodically through the night.As I said, the room was left open/filled with bugs. After spending an hour killing them, I tried to rest but a large moth dove-tailed into my hair and tried to build a nest.The in-room disclosure led me to believe owner thought this quaint.This was a camp site with gym like facilities.Poorly managed and maintained.No standard sanitation protocols to protect from transmission corona virus.IMHO owner is dishonest in description of property (when I booked) doing whatever she can to make a buck.No respect for safety/health of travelers.S

Wapiti is close to the East exit of Yellowstone and has Cody, Wyoming on the other side. We spent an impromtpu day in Cody and it was a great town with lots of interesting history. Wapiti is gorgeous. Eycat Lodge was surprisingly clean. We stayed in a tepee with myself and my 3 kids. We loved it. I brought travel questions to ask kids and we had a pow-wow each night. We stayed 3 nights. They have some food items in a small kitchen that you can purchase any time if you are in need - that was really nice as you are kind of in the middle of nowhere (nearest grocery store probably 30 minutes away). Bathrooms were very nice and clean. We enjoyed the stay here very much!

Greatest Experience Ever!
This place is just AWESOME! So uniquely genuine, perfectly located close to town but out of the hubub. The hosts are so welcoming and accomodating, the premises are clean and very well thought out.

Lovely little spot.
The owners were very friendly and helpful! The tipi was clean and neat. The location is beautiful! Th e bathrooms and all the amenities were cool. A very unique place! We were already talking about staying there some other time. My only complaint was that the lighting in our tipi was too dim… maybe they could get a couple more lanterns or brighter bulbs?

Great stop before you head into Yellowstone or if you can’t find a campground. Beds are super comfortable and private. Close to Cody if you want to do some more sightseeing

The cabin we had was adorable!! It was very clean and the bed was very comfy. The bathrooms and showers were super bright and clean with a little spa like feel to them (which is weird to say about a shared bathroom/shower). There was horseshoe pits and some frisbee golf baskets. The stream that ran along the grounds was calming after a long day at the park. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay east of Yellowstone.

Great experience!!!
We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The cabins are new and very clean. Restroom facilities were extremely nice. Provided coffee, juices and pastries in the morning. Enjoyed the llamas, goats and peacocks on the property. The owner, Pete was an excellent host. Very convenient to East entrance of Yellowstone.

The cabins were very nice, clean comfortable and private. If we ever get out that way again we would absolutely stay there again. The owners were also very friendly and they had lots of animals you could pet and interact with. It was a nice outdoor atmosphere with all the comforts.

You have to stay here!!!!
My kids and I passed through here from Mount Rushmore on our way to Yellowstone. I only reserved one night since we were just passing through, but we will definitely be coming back and staying longer! The owners are amazing! So friendly and hospitable. We stayed in a TeePee, and it was better than anything we could have imagined. So much room inside. We absolutely loved it!! We have never been camping in a more peaceful place. And for being outdoors and having a shower house, it was exceptionally clean! They definitely take very good care of the facility and their guests. Such a Beautiful place!!! They have animals, and also horseshoes, basketball, frisbee golf. Lots of fun stuff for the kids. I cannot say enough good things about it! If you are not sure if you want to stay here, this is your sign to DO IT!!!!!

We actually didn’t end up staying due to an error on the booking agents double booking the last room. The owners were very kind and even offered us a guest room with private bath in their house. We declined there offer and they were diligent in getting Expedia to refund us our money! I’d recommend them based off the owners truly went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of!

I was looking for a place to stay in Cody. This campground is actually in Wapiti. If you disagree, explain your point to the WAPITI Post office next door. The cabin, is actually a bunk house. I had expected a cabin.

The advertised picture, i feel, is deceiving for what you get. Picture is true, but was taken from the owner's balcony. The cabins were nice and clean! The shower rooms were very clean also. (Out house was not very clean.) Breakfast was okay if you only want coffee and little donut snack. I had hoped for a restuarant. Wheels of Wonderment is perfect for the well-seasoned camper only, not an RVer or one who is making a trip to the area. Thanks, but no thanks. Doug and Louise Kant

Wonderful time for the family.
We were traveling from Yellowstone and visiting Cody. We decided to stay acouple days in The Large Panda Tipi. The staff was very Helpful and the site had alot of extras; basketball, horse shoes etc..also a Massage Chair!! The Kids loved feedOur Tipi had 5 comfortable twin beds and a central table for games. Extra blankets and a Portable Heater in case it got cold.. A short drive to Cody offers alot of food options. I Highly Recommend The Wapati Lodge 7 Saloon only 2 miles from WOW Its a great place Pizza and a beer.

Highly recommend
We were pleasantly surprised! The owners were so nice and accommodating. The teepee was comfortable and such a unique experience. The kids loved all the yard games. The bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Goats and Llamas were made it even more fun. Overall great!
