Waipahu Trip

The hotel is very good value for money, but I'll leave some observations here for improvement. The room I stayed in didn't have a mirror, which was bad for my wife; women like to get ready and having a mirror helps. The bed wasn't very good, the spring mattress was old and if someone moved it sounded like an earthquake in the whole bed. If you're driving, be sure to reserve parking as spaces are limited. The staff is excellent. Small changes can make a hotel even better than it already is.

First night arriving we had an issue in the room we were assigned, it was brought up to the front desk. The original room had to be shut down and they were wonderful in giving us a different room which turned out to be better than expected. It was our first time in Hawaii and the room upgrade made our experience on the island so much better. Thank you to the staff especially Marissa for the wonderful experience at the resort.

The rooms were spacious and accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked and workable. I didn’t use the laundry facilities. Housekeeping and maintenance were very responsive. The air conditioner in the bedroom didn’t work on the second night. The filter needed to be replaced. I don’t know if a regular check is completed on all mechanical items in the room. The afternoon valet and check-in person were not very friendly or helpful. The feeling was I want to get you out of here. The young valet worker’s favorite answer was I don’t know.

Elevators were not very consistent
