"We walked in an apartment with dust and dirt on the floor, mould behind toilet door, mould on kitchen glass tray. They said this apartment was closed for some time. Housekeeping staff should be trained to check on details. Would not recommend for families who are particular about cleanliness. The management needs to take feedback seriously without giving excuses for lapses."

"One of the worst hospitality service ever. Won't get a towel, bedsheet or toiletries. No cleanliness and smelly dusty rooms. No room service. Swimming pool with decayed leaves and house full of mosquitoes. Broken room locks and the bonus is you won't get water in toilet. Needless to say a poor management by owner and totally irresponsible behaviour. Please don't waste your money by looking at beautiful pics of the villa. Save your money for better stay. "One of the greatest hotels I have ever stayed in. This place oozes quality. No wonder Prince Charles and Camilla stayed here when they paid a visit. The location in great but the staff are another level. Every detail is finely crafted and every need is jumped upon by well trained staff. Honestly the staff can’t do enough for you, they made our stay very memorable need. The food it top notch and if Michelin were in town they would surely get a star. The breakfasts are to die for. The rooms are generous and comfortable and the housekeeper was a diamond. Absolutely nothing could be improved upon. If you are in Colombo and need luxury, don’t go anywhere else. "
