we ended up staying a 2nd night to stay in the petra area. clean, comfy bed, lovely friendly staff, good location and avfair breakfast encouraged us to go back. would visit again.

I chose this hotel for the price and location, next to the Petra Visitor Center (entrance to the archeological site). Lobby was nice but the room was disappointing, overlooking an abandoned empty lot (no view at all, and with small beds.

I have to say this is the best place in my visit to 10 countries during my last vacations (clean, quiet, good environment, delicious food). Nothing can be compared with the attention and the service we received during our time in Petra. Ahmad and Zozo, such wonderful people at reception made us feel at home and patiently gave us advice on the area and happily answered our questions. I truly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Clean and excellently placed hotel

A great hotel very close to the main entrance to the Petra archeological park. A very clean hotel with updated rooms, a really nice shower and a great lobby. The gentleman at the front desk was super willing to help me convert my USD to JOD and help me book tickets to the Petra at Night experience. There are multiple restaurants, shops and souvenir stores within an easy walking distance to the hotel. The only "bad" thing is that it seems like the walls of the rooms are a little thin so I was able to follow along to the song that the people in the room next to me were listening to beginning at 0700 every morning.

La Maison is about a 3-5 minute walk from the Petra visitor center and at a very convenient location in respects to many restaurants. Overall the property is very well maintained and the staff is eager to help. The only downsides were that the shower was scaldingly hot even when turned down and the air conditioning did not work, however we were told that was due to the time of year (early March), but we just opened the window and the room cooled down.

Staff were very friendly and were accommodating with all of our requests. Room was very clean. The shower was a bit disappointing, with extremely low flow, making it difficult to wash properly. The construction noise on our first night wasn’t ideal, but not the fault of the hotel
