Lovely room, in a nice area, helpful, friendly staff.

Super clean, and some of the friendliest and obliging staff I've encountered on any trip. Can't comment of food as we didn't eat there, but would certainly recommend. Only thing I'd say is that it isn't a 5 min walk from the harbour - more like 15 mins - but you walk the length of the main stret so you get your bearings early on.

Jonka and Karen made us extremely welcome and were very understanding with my Bronchitis and Asthma and gave us the most fabulous cold water, which in the heat was wonderful. Then when asked about local restaurants Jonka suggested going to the local supermarket and getting a salad and having it in their beautiful shaded garden. They gave us plates etc., then a desert of yoghurt. The breakfast was astounding and set you up for the whole day and as if that was not enough gave us fabulous...

Very relaxing, clean and stylish minimalist design. Quiet location within walking distance to dunes and reed beds. Excellent cycling lanes. Plenty of wildlife and within easy cycling distance to colourful bulb fields, coastal tracks, wetlands and villages. Limited places to eat without transport. The food in the restaurant however is delicious and excellent quality but fairly pricy. Limited choice for vegetarians/vegans. Always at least 2 fish options. Around 100-110 euro for 2 mains, sides,...

I stayed here with a group of 8 friends on a cycling tour of The Netherlands. This was the favourite hotel of everyone. From the moment we arrived until the time of our departure we really felt like guests in someone's home. Nancy and her team did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome. The hotel was spotless, the service excellent, and the breakfast exceptional. I can high recommend.

A wonderful relaxing stay: welcoming, informed staff, excellent buffet breakfast and à la carte evening meals, spacious bedrooms, great central location - definitely recommended!

Great location and lovely peaceful terrace! Very helpful and friendly owners and staff. Very good value too!

Kind staff, hotel goes the extra mile. Amazing breakfast and great facilities. Would recommend as a partial wheelchair user.

Even although builders are hard at work providing 24 more rooms by the summer, the standard and quality of service both in the hotel and in the brasserie (as the restaurant is temporarily closed for building works) were first rate. Dinner in the brasserie was one of the best we've ever experienced. Good menu, interesting flavours, quickly prepared and beautifully cooked, all done to perfection with a superb Creme Brulee to finish. Together with very reasonable prices both for the room with...

Lovely little b&b on Texel in Den Hoorn, quiet village on the south of the island not far from port. Great base to explore the island. Cosy comfortable room and plentiful breakfast, free tea and coffee all day which was bonus

Great location on a lovely island
