We have just returned from a very pleasant stay at this lovely hotel. The staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for a lot of tastes. The hotel was very well located for an easy walk into the old town. Plenty of nice restaurants to try nearby. We would not hesitate to recommend the Pousada de Viseu and hope to return ourselves one day.

This was the second time we were stayed in this hotel. We love it so much. We will be back that’s for sure. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the location could not be more perfect, the view is incredible.

This is the nicest European hotel we have ever stayed in. The building is fabulous, really nicely converted with lots of thoughtful design choices. The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, nice big fluffy towels. Great indoor spa facilities (we had a brilliant couples massage) and the outdoor pool is the perfect place to swim and relax with a cocktail. Great place to stay in Viseu. Perfect location, nice, clean room. 10/10

This hotel is right in the centre of Viseu, the rooms were very spacious and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay here, it’s a beautiful building and ideal for staying in Viseu.

Wonderful boutique hotel in a quieter area of Viseu surrounded by water fountains, a lovely church and a simply wonderful park with an abundance of wildlife. Great selection of close restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Vintage restaurant just a 2 minute walk. The owner is a real charmer. The staff at Avenida are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and clean. A highly recommended stay

Very relaxing

If you’re driving watch out the hotel is easy to miss, it’s on your right hand side as you go up the steep narrow street. If possible turn into the side road just before the hotel and park near the junction. The hotel car park is not far from there. Lovely quiet situation but not far from the town centre. Nice room with comfortable bed. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Helpful staff and great spa area, perfect to relax

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful palace and it was truly great value for money. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, with daily cleaning service that made our stay even more comfortable. The location is stunning, surrounded by nature and peaceful countryside, with lovely farm animals adding to the charm.
