19 Summer Suites
8/10 Good
"I was unsure about 19 Summer Suites as it had mixed reviews. Well we stayed with our booking and had the most fabulous holiday. The staff were very welcoming although communication was a struggle, it's mainly Italians holidaying here which we loved, but we got by. We are a family of 5, stayed mid August. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and paid extra for the sea view. The accommodation was basic as expected and it does need some tweaks! The wardrobes were in the kitchen/lounge using our suitcases for storage in the bedrooms, the wardrobes should be in the bedrooms making room for another sofa. Only one mirror in the bathroom, we have teenage girls so this was a battle when getting ready! No hooks in bedrooms for hanging towels although there is a large airer on the balcony. Occasionally we ran out of hot water as each apartment has it's own tank, my girls have long hair so showering takes time! The kitchen utensils were sparse! We had no cooking utensils, staff located us some, we only ate in one night. And only 2 coffee cups! However, breakfast was amazing, fresh coffee made at the bar as much as you can drink, food was freshly replenished almost immediately. The shuttle bus to the beach/pool is timetabled. We're walkers and walked in 36ยฐ heat, 8 minutes at the most. The pool is a private beach club with plenty of beds. The town is 20 minutes walk away, very quaint plenty of bars/restaurants. Hired a car, drove to Lecce 40 mins, Alberbello 2hrs, airport 1.5h.โฌ140 arrival."

"Excellent location very close to the main town Friendly and helpful staff Great buffet breakfast though there was a tendency to start clearing up before the official finish time Building is a little tired and some of the plug sockets only worked intermittently"

"Good standard hotel but a couple of minus points for me. Firstly it wasnโt easy to find our room as it was far from reception and a few hotel blocks away. The room itself wasnโt 4 star and the shower cubicle was tiny!! Other than that the pool area is excellent and the breakfast was really good"

"Everyone was so kind and friendly. The food was amazing, compliments to all the kitchen staff and the front of house. One area that goes unoticed is the cleaning team. They do a wonderful job working in the heat keeping Mulino spot less. Well done everyone at Mulino we would love to come back. โค๏ธ"
