"The hotel had a nice look to it as I drove up to it. Excellent location. Friendly staff. The hallway leading to my room seemed a bit cheap and dingy decor-wise. The room was light and airy and comfortable. Comfortable bed. Pleasant smelling lotion and hand wash in bathroom. My TV didn't work at all. I called downstairs and a friendly guy from the front desk came up but even after getting new batteries for the remote and another remote he was unable to get it to work. This should be fixed before too many other guests check in. I liked that I could fill up my water bottles down in the lobby. Added plus. I was delighted when I discovered the beautiful bike path just across the street from the hotel that wanders for quite a while along the river. I don't remember reading about this path when I was reading up about this hotel online. I think it would be important to mention this if it is not mentioned anywhere as those who enjoy running, walking, or biking like I do would find this a huge bonus to be able to access it within steps of the hotel site. I do want to mention that the welcome letter I received upon check-in did mention not to store bikes in the rooms; however, I did not read this until after I had begun taking my bike to my room. This should probably be mentioned to guests up front via word of mouth. Overall, this hotel was just what I needed and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."
