This place is a paradise. Probably the best hotel we have been in the Philippines. We only stayed for 4 days but we wish we could have stayed much longer. Amazing resort for a resort of its size. Seamless transfer from Caticlan airport vi their lounge and speedboat to island makes a perfect way to arrive. We stayed in a premier Seaview room which was large and well equipped and maintained. Comfy bed and soft sheets. Cleaning was exceptional and nightly turndown was thorough. We had a wonderful bungalow (sanctuary villa) and we enjoyed everything at coco groove. Superfriendly staff, very good food in the restaurants and a dream-beach. But you have to be carful, while booking-there are many different roomtypes and our friends were very unhappy with the villa they booked.

Absolutely tremendous stay. Mav and his team keep the place emaculate and provide a top class service. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, providing a very relaxing, private and quiet location for the family.

The hosts, staff, facilities, cleanliness, food, location ... Everything is perfect. We were reluctant to leave this idyllic residence. Highly recommend it. Deserves full marks.

We loved our stay at South palms. Everything was fantastic and there is so much to do within the resort itself. Would recommend it to anyone heading to Bohol.

It's the little things that make this place something to come back to: welcome drinks upon arrival, welcome drinks when our boat returned from an island day-trip, staff who call guests by name, and the staff that checked us into our flight AND sent someone to the airport to fetch our boarding passes. It makes the food prices and rather out-of-the-way location (40min from city) quite insignificant details.

This place is so beautiful! Incredible views from the cliff towards the sea and Alona beach which is super accessible by some stairs. No major issues. Great resort overall - I can even say that it is the best resort in Cebu. Some of the amenities need refresh (I understand that is in progress). My recommendation is that this resort tries to do more to be child friendly e.g. add water slides etc.
