Solo trip in mid August 2023
Everything from the front office, Room housekeeping, and restaurant was good. Buffet breakfast was very good with a lot of options including healthy options. The sea view from the window was also good.

We had 2 rooms and Stayed for 4 nights. Pluses: The staff was friendly, responsive and very accommodating. The pool (considering the hot and humid weather) was really good and well maintained. The SPA on the premise (run by 3rd party) was good. Opportunity: The rooms smelt like they were smoked in. (The staff did change the rooms for us immediately) The bathrooms could definitely use a face lift (considering this is claimed as a 5-star hotel) The food in the restaurants was just ok. Buffet was definitely pricy for the spread they had.

Comfortable stay with nice views
Positives - Excellent sea views from the room, accommodated early check in couple of hours before with an extra charge, convenient location Negatives - property is worn out and need a lot of makeover, cleanliness is not so good example, can see tea stains from previous stay. Water flow is the shower area is very slow. Definitely does not qualify 5-star, 3.5-4 star property.

Stay was very relaxing, highly comfortable & felt like at home. Although i arrived much early but i was checkd in after some wait without any charge which speaks volume of their professionalism. My bookng didnt hv any complimentary breakfast, so i hv no idea abt their food. The hotel & rooms are quite modern but needs some repairs here & there. But everything was fully ok. The sea view room are great & thts the biggest plus. The location is just a stroll away frm rk beach.great pool as well for relaxation.

Friendly staff, ok food and a decent room. The hotel has a bit of an outdated look overall. It doesn’t have that welcoming affect. The hotel is clean enough but the interior and the furniture of the hotel makes it look like it’s not as clean as it is. I don’t see this as a 4 star, rather see this as a 3 star hotel.

The Gateway Hotel Visakhapatnam
The hotel is very good in all aspects. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The restaurant has huge variety of cuisine and staff serves with smiles. The property is located exactly opposite to the beach.

I liked that it is located close to beach (location). Hotel needs upkeeping. Furniture looks beaten up. Staff is working hard to keep folks satisfied. Food needs to improve had fruit salad which has basically 2 fruits . No seasonal fruits(mango etc.) Breakfast had its ups and downs.

Very grand and spacious hotel. Rooms have beach view. Very relaxing. The restaurants have good buffets or ala carte. The staff are excellent. I went with my dad for dinner. He is elderly. The staff members helped him walk all the way into and out of the restaurant. Rambabu at the restaurant was very accomodating. Kiran was good at helping with hospitality services.

Relaxed Stay with Great Sea view
The location is superb with breathtaking view of the sea from Room Window. Breakfast spread is okay - service is good with a scope of improvement. The maintenance of the rooms to be improved. Room service as well as food quality is definitely good. Choices of food & restaurants. Rooms are overpriced considering other 4 or 5 star hotels in Visakhapatnam/ same area hotels. More or less comfortable stay - good place to relax in holidays with family.

The hotel was just OK. The check in process was good with great hospitality from Mr. Sai. The room was on the 5th floor facing the ocean. The room was good, clean and excellent. The breakfast place was good and the whole cafe “GAD” has just three people to serve. The hospitality was just ok and totally didn’t have a Tajness to it. The check out was very disappointing by Mr. Abhishek and his priority was talking with colleagues on the phone rather than checking me out!. Overall it wasn’t just OK
