"The pool and sauna facilities were terrific - you can take a medicinal dip without going in the Heviz Lake. I didn't try the spa treatments, but they had lots of options at reasonable rates. Everything was clean and comfortable. The desk staff speak English well (and probably German and Russian in addition to Hungarian). The town is very walkable and picturesque. I came during the off-season and outside dining options were somewhat limited, but the hotel offers half- and full-board dining options covered in the room rate."

Near lake Heviz

"We booked 2 nights at the hotel, we liked it for the new modern decor, interior and lighting, spacious room with balcony, hotel with 3 saunas, swimming pool, free breakfast, and we decided to stay another 2 nights. For the price it is better to book directly with the reception rather than through the website. Don't expect super friendliness from the staff. A pleasant exception is the porter Daria, who is very hospitable, helpful, speaks different languages, including English and Russian. Attention, the saunas are only open until 19:30, and the pool has ordinary water, not water from Lake Haviz. Parking is $9 per day."

Great Family Stay

"We stayed 4 night, couple+3 (ages 6,10,15). The hotel is very clean and everything is in good condition. Our family room had 1 bedroom with a double bed and a 2nd room with 3 beds (one of them a bunk bed). There was a lot of storage space and the rooms are spacious. The room had only one bathroom and shower, and it’s designed in a manner that does not allow someone to use the bathroom while someone else is showering. It was a bit restricting when staying 5 people. There are a lot of activities for younger kids. Not so much to do for adolescents. Would recommend staying with kids up to 12-13. Not very suitable for 15. The food at breakfast and dinner is very suitable for children. However, for adults that are not interested in eating food as if from the ‘kids menu’-not so much. In overall we had a good time, we came so that the kids would have a good time and they did :) "
