"Outstanding "

"We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hôtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too."

"Thanks a great stay with warm host, excellent stop over travelling back from Alps."

"Cathy and Gilles really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble and the house was stunning. "

"All I can say is WOW! If you are traveling through France, you have to stay here. Definitely one of our highlights 😃 Thanks again 🤗"

"Nice stay at Domanie des Rocha in Briare, large lush grounds and great food "

"This property operates as a 2-3 room B&B in a large old manor house between Vezelay and Fontainebleau. We had a very large quiet room in the two flights up attic on the third floor. The bath was modern and the bed comfortable. We pre-arranged for four course dinner which the proprietress cooked and served. The grounds were remarkable, with a small river running through and lots of flowers."

"Good location and secure parking, helpful host who sorted out a restuarant"

"Super nice place, with super nice staff 10/10"

"Room overlooked the river ."

"Room was clean and quiet, staff was courteous and helpful."

"Plenty of room in the gite and the bedrooms nicely done but the kitchen area was sparse and a bit unappealing (not the most comfy environment). "

"It is a simple hotel privately managed with a very good restaurant."
