"Wonderful stay in Sarlat! Excellent and varied breakfasts. It was a bit of a walk up the hill back to our room, but the restaurant recommendations our hostess made were excellent. The only critical observation was that the internet connection was spotty. We would love to return when the weather was warmer so we could use the beautiful swimming pool."

"Hotel is in an excellent location with paid parking directly outside. The rooms were clean, fairly well equipped, and looked to have been recently renovated. Bedding and pillows were comfortable, although not luxury. Everything is within easy walking distance. There is a very basic bar on site, although it was fairly quiet during our stay, possibly due to travelling in shoulder season. Staff were friendly and courteous, even advising us that the nearby public car park would be free overnight on Sunday rather than paying for hotel parking, which was appreciated. Overall, very good value for money and a pleasant stay."

"Perfectly situated in town, close to everything. The staff was incredibly helpful. They helped me with substituting a pillow and I slept like a dream after that. The breakfast provided is delicious! Highly recommend this place."

"A charming single story hotel in the countryside with views of at least 4 castles from the property. Our room had access to the patio(terasse) where we could sit outside and enjoy the weather. Easy drive to go out for dinner to multiple charming towns and villages. Very friendly and helpful staff, good continental breakfast. We liked it so much we decided to stay 2 extra nights. Good place to base yourself and explore the region."
