Top Vila da Ponte River Beach Hotel Reviews
Quinta de São Luiz - The Vine House
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing stay . The view from our balcony was spectacular. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The Quinta is very relaxing and secluded. We were lucky that our stay coincided with the end of season fireworks which was magical."
Quinta da Portela Douro
10/10 Excellent
"The room was excellent. It was private with a nice outdoor space. The staff was friendly though I do speak some Portuguese, which was useful; nonetheless my brother does not and there was never a communication issue. The amenities were excellent and I highly recommend the wine tasting."

Quinta Vale de Lobos Douro
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic stay for 2 nights in late September. Location is a challenging drive up a mountain, mixed signage. Great staff, lovely room and outstanding view on a clear sunny day. One challenge - breakfast is provided, dinner is not available....we did ask for a cheese platter one evening (the only option) but it was not made for us, not sure why - so we had to drive 15 mins into town in the dark. Overall a fantastic stay but be warned it is not a hotel, it is a quinta (farm) that does not really have much more than a room with a view. For that its amazing."
