"I liked the look of the Marchesina Hotel. Very spacious, easy flow, lots of areas to sit, Our particular room, a little needy for traveling tourists with suitcases and places to hang toiletrybag, towels. I would say a little upgrade is needed in respect to tourists needs in a oom."

"This is a self serve property. This does not suit us. First the directions on hotels.com were incorrect. Second when you are told a key will be sent we do not imagine an electronic message and codes. This delayed our entry to the property by 1hr. As it was raining the next morning having to go out for breakfast at a nearby cafe was also not convenient. "

Potenza is a lovely little town with all kinds of bars and restaurants where you will meet interesting, friendly people. I would post photos but they say they are too big. Get with the program hotes.com The hotel is close to everything you need without having to walk for more than a few minutes and has few tourists. "We were in two rooms below ground level, which were quiet, but no airflow. One room had a shower that was too small for an adult. They were clean and relatively comfortable otherwise. Breakfast was pastry and yogurt. We were able to park in one of the garages, otherwise, parking could be difficult. The location is awesome - very hard to find initially - it looks like it’s impossible to get to, but once you know, you know. Guessing that their other rooms may be nicer."
