"highly recommend this hotel. Their customer service is second to none. The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. There is a private but limited parking free of charge and a rich breakfast with a superb view"
"Wonderful hotel with a great private spa area. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The breakfast was fantastic, with French pastries, freshly brewed coffee, fresh fruit, and lots of little extras. Highly recommend this place to everyone, who would like to relax in the French alps.
"The beautifully designed and furnished hotel still had a casual, welcoming feel. The owners live on site and are very polite and helpful, interested enough to feel engaged but not intrusive or nosy. The room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel and we appreciated the full-sized toiletries.
The only negative thing I could say about the place is that there is a bit of road noise if you have the windows open. "
"Excellent hotel the staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, breakfast was really enjoyable with plenty of selection, location is a 10min walk to the center, plus side is the bus stop is right outside of the hotel that takes you straight to the telecabine"
"Love the hotel and its packman vibe. Our room was so nice and comfortable. I would for sure stay there again and recommend- it was close to everything as we has a car rental. "

"Pretty design, clean, top notch hospitality. Very close to train station. There is a pharmacy right next to the establishment. Restaurants in the surrounding area are practically non existent in the evening."
"The room and view were great. We asked the front desk gentleman to call us a taxi (we were staying in the hotel the following Sunday, however we arrived the Sunday prior and needed assistance hiring a taxi)and he was rude, asking why we traveled to France when we did not speak any French. I expect this type of comment in Paris, maybe, but not outside the city in a town where people frequent for hiking and skiing. "
"Great hosts, small family run boutique hotel. The service is excellent. Bathrooms newly renovated and were fantastic! Loved the smaller more local feel to this little ski town, so cosy and quaint and especially great for kids and those new to skiing. Not many great restaurants in the area though so would advise making the drive to Sallanches. "
"Fantastic place to stay for the 6 of us.
It was smart and clean, but also very homely. Great breakfast (cooked and pastry options), super close to ski hire and slopes (few mins walk), sauna and steam were really nice and those who had massages said they were great. Nice afternoon tea/cakes at an extra cost (~12 euros pp).
Views from the rooms and the dining area were unbelievable.
Had everything you could want I think.
I thought the dinner was nice. Some others had more mixed reviews, but I think was good on the whole. We stayed in the hotel for our 3 night stay. Any more nights and we may have gone into town for a change of scene.
The best was the staff. Super friendly, helpful, organised and just great to be around. They really made the trip for us. They sorted ski passes and taxis to/from the airport with no fuss at all.
The hotel is really close to ski schools and nursery slopes, and some of the rooms were well set up for older kids (say 8 years plus). We were an adult only group, but I'm not sure how good the hotel itself would be for young kids in terms of things to do in the hotel. There were a couple of babies around when we were there, so definitely fine for them to be there.
Thanks again to all the staff. We will definitely be back - brilliant stay!

"View from the apartment was absolutely stunning. The apartment was comfortable, modern, and well equipped, and spacious enough for two for a week. Nice big bathroom with two sinks! Staff were friendly.
On the down side, I do not think the integration with Expedia is very well thought out. The property seemed to have trouble contacting us or even responding to our messages, at one point telling me they didn't have my phone or email address despite somehow managing to send me marketing communications multiple times per day. Also at one point we owed them money for ski hire, had no clear payment instructions and through pure trial and error I found a way to pay through their website using some random made up username sent in the booking confirmation. The check in was very poorly managed in my opinion - we were arriving shortly after 8pm and despite having our deposit nice and early the residence would not share access information for self check in until less than an hour before we arrived, even as we explained we'd be driving through the mountains and no guarantee we'd have signal.
As mentioned the staff are very nice but don't expect to be treated like a hotel guest despite the high price. E.g. basics like toilet paper not supplied or supplied very grudgingly, even though it obviously makes no sense for short term guests to go out and buy everything.
Finally, more could be done to make the spa a relaxing experience for guests as it is overrun by children."
You can take time to visit Les Thermes de Saint-Gervais during your travels to Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. You can seek out the ski slopes while in the area.
