SALH is a cute boutique hotel close to several small shops, restaurants and massage salon. It’s a few minutes walk to the night market. Staff were all kind and friendly. The hotel is clean and maintained. The dining area is Luke an oasis, with nice plants, little ponds with colorful fishes. My room was spacious enough for a solo traveler. The beddings and sheets were clean. Their cable TV was working . The bathroom, although not big enough, was immaculate. I had a restful 2 nights at this hotel.

Our entire stay was very welcoming and we enjoyed every minute of it. Staff was very accommodating and helped book our train ticket. They also helped with the transportation to/from the train station and airport. Would highly recommend as they are very nice and helpful, English friendly as well. The breakfast is very good and the staff will even make lattes/cappuccinos for you.

This was my second time staying in Sabaidee@Lao during my business trip. Each lasting 7 days. Sabaidee@Lao is a excellent hotel with good location friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance to the night market various food outlets. Will definitely stay here again.

Worth the Stay!
It was a good hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. The internet was pretty decent while staying there, however, Netflix would pause from time to time before really working well. I had to do some remote work while staying at Sabaidee connecting back to the US, and the connect stayed fairly strong and worked well enough for business chats and a couple web meetings. The bed was quite hard which is typical for SE Asia and the furnishings weren't too impressive but served their purpose. The bathroom was quite small, but the shower and water pressure were fantastic. Overall, because of the friendliness of the staff (and in general the Lao people), I would stay here again.

Nice place, be sure you get what you paid for
Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Vientiane, walking distance to everything. The hotel itself was very nice, clean, modern, with comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly, but at checkin they put us in a room with two twin beds, rather than one double we reserved. We had to show them a copy of our reservation and insist they change our room to the one we booked. They fixed it. The next day we needed airport transfer, which was included for free one way in our reservation. They were going to charge us 10USD for the transfer, until again, we showed them a copy of our booking. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Vientiane, but be sure to check everything to make sure I'm getting what I paid for...

I was first placed in the worst room at the end of the corridor next to the housekeeping, located on second floor of the other building for two nights. It was very loud, I can hear the steps from the room upstairs and the opposite rooms. I think the wall between the rooms is very thin. There is no lights coming in the room. There is another building, about a meter away, blocking the lights. I could not open the window for any lights to come in the room and the lights in the room are very low. I did not had a good sleep for two nights. Since I had two more nights to stay, so I requested for the new room. When I mentioned the room number, the staff knew it right away that my room was not good. They promised me the best room the next morning. I am happy with the way they handle my problem. The reason I was placed in that room because the hotel is full. The staff are very friendly and would try to solve my issue with no hesitation. Many thanks indeed.

The staff at the Sabaidee are awesome. Very helpful and attentive. The hotel was under renovations during our stay, however the staff apologized and brought us fresh fruit platters to apologize. The location is close to small markets restaurants and sight seeing!

Excellent choice.
An excellent choice with a terrific location. The staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is varied. Lots of tour groups but not a problem for independent travellers as we are. Lovely ambience at night and very quiet at all times. The breakfast coffee was not to our taste but there is an excellent coffee shop "Le Parisienne" just a few steps from the hotel. They do fabulous take out coffee so that solved the problem of morning coffee. We would deginitely stay again.

Pleasant Stay in Laos
The best thing in that hotel is their staff which I consider all of them as kind and helpful. While their breakfast is not so elaborate, but for me its already sufficient. I like their staff so attentive to my needs. I'm not yet asking but they already know my needs. THANK YOU FOR THAT.

Lovely hotel, huge rooms and a terrific breakfast
The hotel was wonderful, from the moment I first arrived. The room was ready early and was an impressive size. The shower was hot and better than my shower at home! The towels were wonderful and soft and the buffet breakfast was fantastic, especially the local coffee. The staff were always cheerful and helpful.

Great position; great service
This is the 3rd time I have stayed in Sabaidee@Lao which is itself an indication tht I feel comfortable and "at home" here. Because of my relatively long-stay status (60 days) I was upgraded to the biggest room available in the front building (facing towards the courtyard). Big bed; firm and crisp sheets; large room - quiet with good desk space for me to work comfortably; wifi was adequate; laundry was excellent and always completed within the day. Breakfast was sufficient for me as my breakfast is always simple though important for me. Only negative was that it did not change at all over the full 60 days of my stay. Exactly the same every day, but that's OK for some people and it didn't trouble me. There is a building site next door that is progressing rapidly but they did not seem to work out of hours so the noise did not affect me, but if you plan to sleep beyond 7.30 am then it will cause you problems. Every single member of the staff was extremely friendly, co-operative and helpful, and this was a significant factor for me. The hotel is situated in a perfect position for both access to my Vientiane office and also to the majority of restaurants etc that I tried on rotation. I will return to this hotel on my next visit to Lao PDR.
