A wonderful place to stay with great hospitality and location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean and well cared for. There were good shopping options nearby as well as coffee shops and food. We would stay here again.

The staff members were exceptionally friendly. The breakfast served on an outside terrace was good. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Our group has stayed at Lao Orchid several times and we have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is wonderful and the staff is amazing and always helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of great restaurants and the night market. This is our go to hotel in Vientiane.

Front desk were wonderful and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nice. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. Overall it was a great stay.

Relaxing and pleasant central stay
We had a very pleasant and releasing stay quite in the center near the riverside. The staff is very friendly, there's great views from balcony, good WiFi and all basic amenities provided. Thank you

A Professional & Spotless Hotel in Vientiane
This hotel has exceptionally professsional staff who take their job seriously. The service and professionalism of staff here would not look out of place in a 5 star hotel. Although this is 3 star, staff wear suits and the place is organised and efficient. For the same reasons it is also spotless. This hotel is full of Laos traditional character; teak wood is everywhere - so much better than yet another bland generic chain hotel. One down side is that this lovely hotel is in the centre of the action and can be rather noisy at night.

Nice location near the Mekong. Easy to get around. Good breakfast. Responsive staff (had a problem with the water heater which was taken care of instantly. Clean and safe overall feeling. Aircon was mounted in a way, that it is blowing directly on the bed (at least in my room), which may be unpleasant for some guests. Some loud music was coming from the neighbourhood until 2:00AM. However, my colleague who was travelling with me and had a room in another corner of the building, did not hear it.

The staff was great. The food was very good and they were always helpful with what you wanted. My bed was little to firm for me (but that is me) It was very warm at night, so the AC was above my head so at times it blew cold air on me.

Vientiane Lao Orchid
Lao Orchid is a centrally located small hotel. Close to night market stalls and plenty of food opportunities. Can be a little noisy until around 11pm from bass music in other places. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed here before and has improved.

Nice hotel
The hotel is clean and located in a quiet street. The hotel is located near the Mekong River and night market. However, for going to other attractions by walk, it needs more time as the hotel is located at the other side not close to those attractions. It is quite hard to find any taxi or tuk tuk outside the hotel.

I have been staying here many times but they always don’t allowed to check in early.And I always request front view they give me back view , they shouldn’t treat regular customers like that.The worst is transportation to airport they charge vry high usd 10, I came from airport only usd7.The next time I try not to book this hotel anymore .

Gem in vientiane
Every time I come to Vientiane I stay at Lao Orchid. The Staff is wonderful and very welcoming. Great price for the location. Room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

Very helpful reception staff, they helped us organising a tailored tour of the surroundings, in addition to always being ready to make our stay even better. We checked out really early and they opened breakfast before time to ensure we had a good meal before taking the train. Location was great, close to everything and to the beautiful Mekong.
