One of the best hotels in Lagos. Beautiful decor inside the hotel and at the Terrace Pool Bar area. Food was excellent. Rooms are large and comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Only problem was on Sunday called down to the reception three time for water. I had to go down myself to finally get it. 2 1/2 hrs later. Very disappointing after a really nice stay.

The place was beautiful it didn’t matter what time of day we left they cleaned our room before we came back. The complimentary breakfast was very good. And the evening dinning was great sitting by the water. Best place I stayed in Lagos

Confirmed arrangements for shuttle from airport which never came nor notified us which caused us to be at the airport for almost 2 hours trying to find the driver then make alternative plans. Checkout was also stressful because they could not make their credit card device work and wanted to charge us way above going rate to pay cash, which we did not really have means to do.

The location is perfect, near most restaurants and shopping mall in VI. We loved the view, the food and cocktails in Salmas restaurant. The breakfast staff can improve on their service.

I spoke to management about the leaking water in my room, and I was offered another room, which I declined because changing rooms would not have made a difference. The hotel is a nice place but it needs renovations. The following pictures, which I did not share with management, explain why I did not say more to management. The place has what appears to be mildew in many places; the furniture is old and in bad condition; and the place needs to be exterminated. I am sharing this with Expedia because it is one of your recommended hotels.

Big rooms and big pool. This is my goto hotel when in Lagos.
One issue is the cooks and server in kitchen for breakfast they are not friendly and they don’t refill food if it’s gone.
Love that it’s next to Cactus restaurant

Good: large room, hot shower, wifi signal was good, price point for accommodations was reasonable
Bad: horrible customer service and management (examples: unfriendly front desk staff at every shift, complimentary water only on first day of stay, excessive cost for cheap electronic key card lost)

I have been staying at this suite for about five years and it has continuously improved and perfected it's trade.
The service is unbelievable, staff is excellent and takes pride in what they do. Overall, it's an excellent place to stay.

I was initially booked to Protea Hotel for a business trip, project manager suggested a change for ease. I'm glad he did this hotel was far better. Straight away the Service was really good, as I arrived at my room someone turned up with welcome drinks and then IT guy showed up with wifi pass and made sure all okay. Riverside view ideal, food at hotel good and the Cactus restaurant next door gave variety. Would definately stay again.

The staff were lovely, they would go above and beyond. I stayed a week and felt they were like family by the time I left. The rooms are very spacious and bathrooms very modern. You have Selma’s restaurant down stairs which is amazing and cactus also. A nice pool on the riverside. I stayed in room 106 and I loved my spacious balcony view of the water it was so calming is such a busy country. You forget you’re in Lagos and feel like Miami, with the sounds of the boats passing by.
The staff was GREAT but there were things that were very annoying with the room. The hot water kept going out and they didn't fix it after two calls so we just took lukewarm/cool showers and the AC kept going out. Also, the COVID standards listed on the website are not what they do..no 48 hrs gap. Also no hotplate to cook or dishes.

It was good but could be perfect. They are still using spring mattress which is really hard on the body. They need to upgrade their beds to a more comfortable ones.
