I cannot thank that wonderful staff enough for their kindness towards me. I arrived in a flurry at 12pm having a matter of hours to dress for a mid-afternoon function to (receive honours) and check in wasn't until 4pm. The staff understood that I was needing a place to prepare and dress in my ball gown asap. They very kindly made sure I had a room right away and couldn't be more empathetic and understanding. Upon my return from the event they asked me how it all went and seemed genuinely happy for me. I told them that the owner of the hotel was at the event and I made a point of singing the praises of the staff of the Chateau Victoria. Thank you so much for taking the stress out of a very important day. Dame Christine Ryan

The Chateau is located in a perfect spot to enjoy the downtown sites of Victoria. Walk out the door and you are steps away from the major attractions. It was quiet at night…great bed and truly the best pillows I have ever slept on! Not kidding! And when I asked about them, they were kind enough to give me all the details so I can now get them for my home. Parking is onsite. Vista 18, their top floor restaurant is, I believe, one of Victoria’s best kept secrets. The view is spectacular from there and the food top notch. While this was my first stay at the Chateau, I’ve always made a point of going to Vista 18 when in Victoria.
