"The tour of the Duff mansion was exquisite & so were the accommodations!! Authentic furniture & furnishings of the 1800s. The gal tour guide went way beyond in details & historic retelling of stories; & our welcome was very warm with a wine mtg at the mansion. The breakfast was fancy & super good. We met wonderful guests from all over- even Europe. It was a very special experience to go back in time & relive the Civil War era. All the extras the owner provides is extraordinary!! This is a must do visit!! 5 stars plus!"

"We chose this location for the ease of its 1/2 way point to Orange Beach the next day We stayed in Kate’s room with a king bed which had ample parking right next to our room which made unloading and loading so easy. We were steps away from downtown Vicksburg for exploring and dining! Morning breakfast was!!! Fresh & Delicious So charming a place for a quick stop, priced well for such great accommodations friendly staff Amy, Tammy and Sam the owner!"

"We had a great 2 night stay at the Baer House Inn. Latonya was a great host, she let us know of places to eat and informed us of things to see in town. She also pointed out that parking is free all around town, and let us know about the passport book you can get stamped at attractions and get a free t-shirt at the Vicksburg visitor center before you leave town. The beds, pillows, and linens were great. Everyone at breakfast commented on what a great nights sleep they got. Towels are also plush and oversized. It's an old house, but fitted with new amenities. A high toilet was nice. Fridge in room. Also TV with YoutubeTV. Coffee and tea Kuerig in the hallway for anytime you might need it. Good wifi. Felt safe parking our car on the property. Breakfast was great. Eggs, fresh fruit, sausages, and French toast. The next day quiche, fresh fruit and grits! we played a few games on the pool table before heading out of town. Will definitely stay here again if we are in town."
