"We just finished a three night stay at Lofoten Base Camp. I cannot speak more highly of this place. It was clean, comfortable and a superb location for our photography trip. All the major photographic sights were within a half hour’s drive except south Lofoten which was about an hour away. They are in the process of building an onsite restaurant which will certainly add another convenient aspect to this property. The owner is charming and very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone...

We had the chance to discover Furu Hostel and there is place for everyone : from shared kitchen exchanging experiences in foreign languages to nice dinner enjoying home made food after a wonderful sauna with view lake and lake swim…. Rosa sunsets with the lake….I hope we could come back. "

"The property was very comfortable and quiet. Right between the ocean and the mountains. The staff were amazing, very helpful, and came to let us know there were going to be good northern lights, they were awesome! The only issue was the shower door, it wasn’t very good at keeping water in. Also the stairs going to the bedrooms are very steep, but I believe that is how most homes are there."
