We had to sleeps both windows open with one that did open at the top, Meaning we had to sleeps both windows as it was very hot with a window all open. "Well once I'd found the place, Hotels.com directions via linked map were incorrect and took me to the wrong location via a logging track up another mountainside some 20km away, it was lovely. "Host met us upon arrival and showed us the property. Property was spacious, well equipped and appointed for our party of five. The view from the deck is sensational and the surrounding countryside extremely peaceful. Great place to chill out for a few days and would recommend to anyone that enjoys a farmstay. Road to the property is quite steep and narrow, but the view and serenity is well worth it!"

"Great place to stay, just off the village square, right next to the Mont Blanc Hotel, and two minutes walk from Le Chamois Télécabine. A quiet, calm and convenient location - especially for getting on the first lifts. Could do with refreshing the cutlery and crockery as a couple of items missing, but that is the worst it gets. The only word of warning, make sure you order the bedding and towels beforehand as they are not included in the base price. "

"We had a lovely stay at The Pelican and there really wasn’t anything to fault. So well positioned to walk into the old town its location is definitely its draw but the hotel stands up on its own too. Lovely reception area with friendly staff. The room was immaculate and styled beautifully. I didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food but the restaurant and menu did look amazing if on the pricey side. Pool was probably smaller than I imagined but it was never very busy and we visited in prime time August and could usually get a lounger with ease. The hotel is on the more expensive side but it did feel well worth it and the family room with mezzanine level was perfect for our needs especially having 2 areas to get ready with teen girls. I’d definitely recommend the hotel as a place to stay and would happily revisit"
