I thoroughly recommend this charming hotel.The owners made us feel welcome.It is easy to get to Lake Garda and Verona on the bus that stops nearby.The pool and gardens are well maintained,and the restaurant is of a very high standard.There is a pizzeria under half a mile away and a supermarket a little further on.A marvellous holiday,the room was spacious clean with quiet efficient air conditioning

Hotell med Pool nära Verona

Hotellet var tyvärr ganska slitet och levde inte riktigt upp till våra förväntningar. Närområdet är trist. Men har man bil och önskar ett hotell med pool nära Verona så kan detta vara ett alternativ.

I loved the hotel itself, it was a beautiful place and the wtaff were all ok. Not a lot of the staff spoke English and we were a little concerned that the person who checked us in took our passports to make copies but not qith us right there. I also was not a fan of checkout. I was under the impression we had already paid for our room but when we checked out the bill included the price of the room. Qhen asked the woman couldnt explain it in english but what i gathered was that the booking fee (of the same amount as the room) was different from the reservation fee (which was what was on the bill).

This place really grows on you! It is a short drive from downtown Florence, and it's easy enough to park in Florence and enjoy the city. (Parking at Park Hotel Elefante is FREE, however.) The service and courtesy of the staff is impeccable, the food of the associated restaurant is wonderful and the park is lovely. I highly recommend it.

All round a good stay however, you definitely need a car as there is nothing close by. The location is ideal for access to Verona and the Lake by car. We stayed in one of the chalets which was spacious and had a large shower. Breakfast was very good served on the quaint terrace. There's a nice pool with plenty of free loungers and extensive gardens. The restaurant is expensive with a limited menu and the drinks are expensive compared to elsewhere. 6€ for half a pint.

Un hotel fatiscente che probabilmente in passato era bello e ben tenuto. Adesso è decadente e poco curato, arredi vecchi, odore di chiuso nelle stanze . La parte esterna dei servizi abbandonata a se stessa. Un prezzo da 3 stelle per un livello da 1 stella

Lovely Verona hotel with garden and pool.

We stayed at this friendly, small hotel ( a converted villa) just outside Verona with two granddaughters aged 11 and 13. It was perfect for sightseeing in Venice, Mantua. Lake Garda etc. The owners are extremely helpful; the girls loved the cats and peacocks as much as the pool and garden; the breakfast buffet was excellent and the restaurant good although the menu is not very child-oriented. Call the hotel direct for suggestions about family accommodation in small cottages in the grounds. We thought this a real gem and would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the area but have a place to wind down at the end of a day's sightseeing.

Närma Verona Airport

Blev en natt där för att komma närmare flygplatsen. Tyvärr köket stängt på söndagar. Så vi fick leta upp en restaurang i närheten för middag. Annars lite slitet hotell men ändå charmigt. Bra pool och fin trädgård.

Rodzinny pobyt w Weronie

Dziesięciodniowy pobyt w hotelu był bardzo udany. Bardzo miła obsługa hotelu wraz z przechadzającymi się zwierzętami (pawie + kot) wprowadzała domową atmosferę. Przyjemny basen, w którym można było bez tłoku popływać. Położenie hotelu umożliwiające wypady zarówno na wschód (Wenecja, Padwa)oraz na zachód (Jezioro Garda, Mediolan). W ramach zarezerwowanego pokoju dla trzyosobowej rodziny otrzymaliśmy klimatyzowany dwupokojowy domek. Jedynym minusem był brak lodówki i WiFi obejmujące swoim zasięgiem jedynie główny budynek hotelu i basen.

Perfekte Unterkunft für Verona-Besuch

Ein Gläschen Rotwein zum Tagesabschluss am gepflegten Swimming-Pool, nette Pfauenfamilien im großen parkähnlichen Garten, äußerst angenehmes Betreiberpaar des Hotels, das immer ansprechbereit ist! Parken auf dem großen Grundstück kein Problem. Zu verschmerzender einziger (!) Nachteil sind die Straßengeräusche bei geöffnetem Fenster, da Klimananlage kein Problem.

Wir sind positiv überrascht! Schöne und ruhige Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, 15 min bis Zentrum, beim Frühstück haben wir selbstgemachtes Fleisch bekommen, was ich persönlich genial finde. Beim nächsten Mal bleibe ich sicherin fdiesem Hotel!
