Lovely clean apartment in a fantastic location

Apartment was in the most amazing location- right in the centre of Verona with the train station only a 15 minute walk away to easily get to Lake Garda. When you arrive you have to go to their offices to collect the keys but this was only a short walk away and we had no need to return there during our stay. Apartment was in a lovely condition.

Meraviglioso!

Our apartment was fantastic. The location was perfect and the condition was excellent. The staff managing the location were very helpful. They even took the time to have their local ISP troubleshoot and fix the internet connection when we found that it had stopped working. The only negative was that the lock on the apartment door was finicky. Sometimes it would work fine but on the day we left, it took me about five minutes to unlock the door and I have a lot of experience with the double-sided Italian door keys and sticky locks. It was likely just a temporary problem.

Mala estancia en Verona.

Es un apartamento, no un hotel, y tienes que recoger las llaves a 10 minutos en coche del apartamento donde vas. Bien si vas en coche, pero pesado si vas a pie o en taxi. Check out es a las 10:30. Mucho ojo, porque a partir de las OCHO de la tarde, si les llamas por algo que ellos no consideren urgencia, te avisan que cobran 30 euros como penalización. La ubicación es muy buena, pero los aires acondicionados hacen muchísimo ruido que dificulta dormir. También las puertas chirrían bastante. La limpieza, el techo lleno de telarañas y varios insectos por el suelo. Lo peor fue que por error, tocamos el control climático de la pared cuando llegamos, pensando que como en todos los hoteles se controla desde ahí, pero gran error, eso activó los radiadores, poniendo el apartamento a 30 grados por la noche, sin instrucciones por ningún lado de cómo apagarlo. Al final tuvimos que llamar a la una de la madrugada, y la ayuda fue nula, la chica molesta porque le llamábamos a esa hora, no sabía como apagarlo y la respuesta al día siguiente fue de que no teníamos que haber tocado el control climático... pero cómo iba a saberlo si no lo avisan por ningún lado! Muy mala experiencia para mi familia.

Excellent communication even before our arrival. I cancelled a rental car and Dimore Verona arranged for a pick up which took us first to their office for registration and check in and later dropped us to the apartment, all for the price of €25. This was very reasonable considering that the apartment was in the old city with restrictions on cars being driven outside a few specified hours. The apartment itself was modern, clean and very comfortable apart from a bed whose springs had outlived their useful life. The WiFi was excellent. It had all other amenities like air conditioning, washing machine and ironing facilities. There was dish washing liquid and detergent for the washing machine as well. There was even an elevator to take us to the first floor apartment if there was heavy luggage to be carried up. The place felt safe and quiet and a bit upmarket. t one stage we had a difficulty in operating the washing machine. Messaging on WhatsApp solved the problem and someone came over and fixed it whilst we were out. The best thing About the apartment was its location. Barely three minutes walk from the Arena and the main square Piazza Bra and the main shopping street ie Via Mazzini. In fact Verona old town is a very walkable place and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our special thanks to Giulia who dealt with our arrival as well as helping to receive our suitcase which arrived a day after we had landed. All in all, an experience that is worth repeating.

Zum Übernachten hat es durchaus gereicht, leider fehlen in der Küche so einige Utensilien oder sind von Vor-Vorgestern. Die Matratze im Bett war etwas sehr unkomfortabel. Der Ausblick vom Balkon in den Hinterhof eines Hochhauskomplexes muss man mögen oder eben nicht. Im ganzen etwas sehr hoch im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis aber das ist nur unser subjektiver Eindruck. (selber mal testen!) Positiv: Die Waschmaschine hat einwandfrei funktioiert. Und die Geräuschkulisse war Nachts sehr angenehm. (Leise und ruhig)

Not worth the cost!

The cleanliness was good, but the apartment was a bit tired. I was supprised that there was no oven considering it was supposed to be self catering, just a hob and microwave, which we had to unplug every time we wanted to boil the kettle as there was only one plug! Also, the bed was worn out and therefore very uncomfortable. Would I recommend, not really.

Handy to city

Was spacious and clean and very handy to city (hop on hop off at end of street) Would stay here again and recommend. However found it very interesting that while we had to pay an extra cleaning fee, $50 nzd, on top of our Hotels.com cost we were made aware of the fact that if we did not remove all our rubbish from the room and do the dishes, we would be charged more again. Our stay was 2 nights.

Lovely apartment very close to attractions

We stayed here for two weeks in September. Booking in and out was very easy. The apartment has everything you need and top quality. The location is perfect, we did almost everything on foot (and we are pensioners!). We also used the bus and train services to visit Venice, Milan, Bologna and Lake Garda, all of which were cheap and easy to do. Marvellous stay and we will be back.

Wonderful apartment

Lovely new apartment with almost everything we needed. We suggest bedside lamps so not to disturb the other person and as mentioned a holder in the shower for shampoo etc. This is not a complaint as the service was superb and the apartment just behind the arena was great. Beautiful Verona and Home!

Stepping outside the dour you have a stunning river walk and so much within walking distance. The staff were so helpful giving information about the city, where to shop and even calling for an early morning cab. If we ever have the opportunity to travel to Verona again we would love to stay here at this wonderful home.
