"This was the best hotel that we stayed at while on our trip to Italy. Easy to hop onto the watertaxi, walk through St. Mark's Square and then short distance to the hotel. St Mark's Bascilica and Doge's Palace are just minutes away. On a colorful walking street and if you want a gondola ride, there's one practically right outside the hotel door. The room was beautiful and comfortable and the staff very nice as well as the breakfast buffet. My only complaint is that the bathroom has a barn door, so there was a gap and felt like less privacy. The shower in our room was very small so it might be too tight for a larger person, but it was fine for us. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to friends/family."
"Rooms were spotless, the location is about a 30 second walk to San Marc’s square, I had a room with a Canal view, it was lovely watching all the Gondoliers each morning.
Staff all very polite. They have some tiny balconies just next to the restaurant, with two seats, perfect for an afternoon drink to watch the world go by. "
"We stayed in a standard double room, it was nice but a bit cozy. The location of the hotel is probably one of it's chief benefits, although beware that it is very close to some church bells. When they ring you will feel it."
"What a beautiful hotel. Converted old flour mill with a view. The rooms are modern with old exposed timbers. Never heard other guests. The breakfast buffet is world class. Something for e everyone, Americans, Brits or Europeans will find what they want. "
