Having transitioned from a great Hyatt boutique-hotel in Milan that provided a wonderful breakfast—all at a much more reasonable rate, in comparison, the AC Hotel Venice came off feeling bland and mediocre at best and, given its exorbitant price, presented more like a B&B than anything closely resembling a Marriott-branded hotel with its characteristic ‘wow factor’. Our room was devoid of any character while the hotel’s extra-cost breakfast was average and hosted in a cramped area near the lobby’s bar. While there was no question that the front-office staff were very helpful during our stay, the rest of the experience was just okay.

We unfortunately couldn’t stay the night but the hotel was lovely. I don’t recommend driving to Venice if you can help it. Better to take a train or bus in. But staying at this hotel was very convenient and safe

Great place to stay after our cruise. Excellent location. Across the street from the bus station and just a short walk away from the Venezia St. Lucia train station. Great breakfast and fantastic staff! Will stay here again the next time we are in Venice.

Efficient and clean hotel stay
It would be nice if the rooms provide some hooks on the wall for coats and jackets otherwise everything is good. It would be better if ramps are placed in front of hotel.

Perfect location for our stay in Venice
We had a 2 night stay following a cruise that ended in Trieste port. We could have taken a bus or train to Venice, and the AC was only steps away from either station. It's location is also steps away from the people mover, taxis and buses to the airport, and steps away from the P. Roma water bus stop which we used extensively to get around town. The hotel staff is a genuine asset; friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast buffet is extensive and definitely worth adding on. As first time visitors to the city, we appreciated the convenience of the location, as well as the terrific hospitality and modern comforts of the hotel.

Fantastic hotel

This was the perfect hotel for a short stay in Venice! It is very convenient to both bus and train. The staff were incredibly helpful with local transportation and any other needs.

A little gem
What a superb hotel. Very clean, comfortable and the staff are fantastic. The location is very close to Piazzale Roma but easy to walk/travel to all major sights.

Great Hotel - Highly recommended!
We had a fabulous stay at the Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided a great service. The hotel is very clean and modern with a good range of services. Our room was a standard double and had everything we needed. It was clean, very confortable, well presented and perfect for a short stay. We took breakfast in the Hotel every day and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food. Overall, we highly recommend this Hotel.
