"Lovely little hotel and restaurant in Brantome. Owner was very friendly and welcoming. Room was nicely decorated with view from balcony and comfy bed. Ate the restaurant and food was delicious."

It has an excellent restaurant, with mainly organic and / or locally sourced produce. It is well worth booking a table for delicious, well-presented food and a good selection of wines, beers and other drinks. Highly recommended."

"We had a really super stay here. What a beautiful hotel; traditional, immaculately clean and so well equipped. We were made to feel so welcome for our short stay (hopefully longer next time!). The mojitos were fabulous! Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and spacious bedroom. Brilliant host! Thank you very much we loved our stay!"

"Very convenient for the station. Room clean and bright. Some of the woodwork and decoration looking a bit tired and worn but still clean. Aircon not brilliant but working. Being upgraded/replaced at the moment. Bedd very comfortable Breakfast good selection and well presented"

"Not too bad but the car park is in a poor state and up the street from the hotel entrance .. which is not great when it is raining and you have to drag your luggage along uneven pavements and over bumps and potholes all while getting soaking wet."
