Everything was absolutly amazing. Especially Wendy was great - always around but never to pushy/intrusive. Rooms & Facilities feel new and on a high standard. Absolutly recommending the Ocean Pool Villas and the direct entry of the house riff. You can see sharks, stingrays and eagle sharks as well as a lot of other fishs.

We stayed for three nights in an overwater bungalow on the sunset side and were blessed with great weather, allowing us to enjoy beautiful sunsets every day. Since we chose the all-inclusive plan, we were able to fully enjoy our stay without worrying about costs. The optional snorkeling tour was also wonderful, as we got to swim with many fish. All the staff were very friendly and pleasant, making our stay truly wonderful and memorable. I hope to visit again someday.

Holiday with my wife.

This is probably the most best of the Maldivian Island resorts, we had a beach fronted villa which was very private and perfectly appointed. We stayed for 5 nights after having been in Thailand for 11 days, for us 5 days was enough as all you can do is relax do a bit of water activity and walk round the Island which took 15 minutes.

Staff - Very friendly and helpful . I was assigned a lifestyle host that was super helpful and convenient throughout the trip. Food & Drinks - you will always be well fed if you have all inclusive. Although taste wasn't that great. Activities - quite a bit of water sports, indoor sports and outdoors . Things to look out for: Even in All Inclusive package, prepare yourself to spend another 1/4 of package price for activities and rest of the things. Water sports that are included in the package and next to none, for anything worth experiencing like Jet ski, snorkeling, and scuba diving, you will have to pay decent amount. Spa - only included if you are staying 7 or more nights. Complimentary photography - the photographer will be given to you for 30 minutes as a complimentary, HOWEVER, only one printed photo will be given, rest of the photo will not be given unless you pay up not even digital photos. Point being, is that everything is very smartly packaged to get you to spend good amount of money even in all inclusive. Kudos to folks who planned it but at some point it felt like they were banking on your emotions given that most people there are on honeymoon and will be helpless but to spend.

This place is PERFECT!!! Beautiful, peaceful, the perfect vacation. The food is excellent, and you can't beat the incredible snorkeling on the house reef. The best snorkeling we saw in the Maldives, right there on our own resort!

I do not usually write reviews however Veligandu is an absolute gem! The island is breathtaking, the staff and service feels so personalised, the food is amazing and the weather unbelievable! My girlfriend and I are talking about our stay everyday since we got back. The island has everything to offer, we had quite relaxed days on the beach, incredible snorkelling with turtles and reef sharks to great party nights at the hotels bar. I should've been did this review in Sept 2021 when went for our honeymoon Rm 262. I seem to can't get this place out of my head and want to go back. Hands down from beginning to end, the staff met every need and made sure we were good. They were excellent! Very welcoming and friendly. The food was really good and our over water villa was beautiful. I heard they are doing some renovations. When it's complete we will definitely revisit.

Wow, we went here for our 30th anniversary and we were not disappointed! Veligandu is absolutely amazing. The word paradise is often over used, but it is a truly fitting description. Everything was perfect; the staff, the services, the amenities, the facilities, the food, the atmosphere and the romance. It is a picture right out of a travel magazine. We can not say enough good things. If you are reading this, don't hesitate, book today. I promise you will not regret it!

The island is a good size. There were times we were out on the beach by ourselves. It's almost like a private island! This is if you go during the rainy season though (which isn't that rainy). I'm sure the peak season is busier. My only complaint is that the beds are not that comfortable. Was expecting better. I give it 4 of 5 stars.

Excellent Maldives Resort Hotel

An unforgettable vacation! A great island with all the amenities for a great holiday. Courteous and helpful staff. Well organized transfer from Valena airport. Cleanliness, comfort, entertainment are all top notch. A rich selection of delicious dishes. Interesting entertaining evening activities. Every minute of our stay was wonderful! Also a pleasant surprise was organized for us on the anniversary. House reef was rich of corales and fishes (including sharks, turtles, murenas and many vore other). Thanks to all staff of the Resort! Special thanks the Oceanic Dive Center! And Special thanks to Katerina!

The location was lovely , beaches and Island verdure were also fabulous . We stayed in a water bungalow which was clean and spacious on the west ,sea ward , side of the Island. It benefitted from the sea breeze and sunsets . The food was excellent , buffet style , of a good quality and varied . Staff were obliging , obviously trained to be so . The sea plane transfer is an added cost (£650) and we had to wait 90 min for arriving passengers from other destinations to fill it before it would leave . This was irritating after travelling for 16 hours . The resort is dated and tired and does need an upgrade which is apparently happening shortly.
