Cozy hideaway near the Jelling monuments

The UNESCO World Heritage in Jelling is just 3-4 minutes drive from this cozy inn. We enjoyed one night stay in quiet idyllic surroundings. Free parking space is just outside the door of each guest room and very convenient to unload and load baggage. The room is spacious. Although food selection at breakfast is somewhat limited, everything is good, especially very tasty warm sourdough bread.

Dejlig kro med potentiale hvis detaljerne kom me…

Fantastisk beliggenhed og hotellet og værelserne fremstår i fin stand. Sengene var ikke gode og når man laver en dobbeltseng ud af 2 lette enkeltmandssenge så burde de blive spændt sammen. TV løsningen virkede ikke i de 2 dage vi var der, men via wifi kan man benytte sin PC, tablet eller telefon. Vores toilet havde svært ved at trække ud og den ene morgen mødte vi naboen som intet varmt vand havde. Egentligt en fin kro dog mangler der lige detaljerne som sæbe i badet eller når der er kaffe på værelset så husk noget en rørepind. Simpelt og OK morgenbuffet, men igen mangler detaljerne som for eksempel servietter. Stedet har dog venlig og imødekommende service og der serveres god velsmagende solid mad hvilket altid er dejligt. Mere sans for detaljerne ville løfte kvaliteten og dermed oplevelsen.

Das Haus bietet mit seinen bescheidenen Mitteln dem Gast alles, was er braucht. Die Einrichtung ist praktisch, der Wirt sorgt durch sein diskretes und freundliches Auftreten für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Morgenmaden var der ikke meget at vælge imellem, wifi var rigtig rigtig rigtig dårligt og man bankede ikke på når der skulle væres rent. Man har fejet eller noget ude foran døren så der var rigtig meget mudret, så det kom ind i gangen.

Super ophold på Skovdal Kro

Det var dejligt at komme til et værelse med god plads og en lille terrasse. Der var pænt og rent og et dejligt badeværelse. Restauranten var nydelig og med dejlig udsigt over Fårup Sø. Gode muligheder for en vandretur bl.a. til Jelling

En naturperle

Vi havde to overnatninger på kroen. Fantastisk beliggenhed. Venligt personale. Maden var god men prisen i overkanten. Vin priserne ligeså. Der er dog plads til forbedringer. Kroen ligger fantastisk natur og dermed også noget isoleret derfor er et problem at WIFI og mobil signal ikke eksisterer på værelserne og kun i ringe grad på selve kroen. Udskiftning af billige plastikkrus til glas badeværelserne og mulighed for at se TV 2. Alle disse minusser kunne let elimineres og gøre meget for en forbedret oplevelse. Det er små uacceptable ting som let kan forbedres og gre opholde endnu bedre. Dette til trods gentager vi gerne opholdet pga beliggenheden og personalet.
