Had a great time with our dog. Restaurants are a quick walk just down the street. Also the Syrian food stand in the parking lot was amazing. The Lodges have a cool modern prefab style and the bed was very comfortable. If we ever come back to Vashon we will stay here.

The Lodges exceeded my expectations! They were a wonderful place to stay for a short weekend on Vashon Island. Easy to find and walkable to the downtown area, giving you access to all the dining and shopping. A wine tasting shop in the village was an added bonus! The lodge itself was immaculate, between the comfy bed and the soaking tub, no detail was spared. My husband and I will definitely return.

I loved this property! Very quiet. Fun. Quirky. The only downside for me… maybe I’m just a bit bougie…but I didn’t like that the kitchen sink is the bathroom sink. But I just kept the sink empty, so no heebie-jeebies from washing our hands or brushing our teeth over dishes. Other than that…awesome. I really wanted to try the coffee press, but didn’t have time. Will definitely start here again!!!

I think the one sink thing is strange. They have a sign that says thank you for the inconvenience, so they're aware that it's odd. Something offputting about brushing your teeth at the kitchen sink. But otherwise a very nice stay and I'd definitely stay again. I put a neutral rating for staff because I had no interaction with staff.

Total automated property. No on site personnel. Codes given and all communications by email. Codes sent for room and no access before 4:00 PM. Shut down at 11:00 AM to get out. Instruction say No exceptions and no humans to speak to. New modular units. Unit very clean; robots? No sink in bathroom. Forced to use kitchen sink. Maybe worst of all, no heat. Very cold nights on Puget Sound and heat turned off for “season” Note in room said if chilly bundle up and use little fireplace in little living room. It was 49 degrees. And to make it all worse, no hospitality at all in a hospitality industry. I hope to never see another property like this.

Hi Norman, I am sorry to hear you had this issue with the HVAC. I didn't receive any calls or emails about it, so I was unable to help you. You also could have had an early or late check-in/out if you had reached out by phone or email. No robots here, just really high standards. Some people love automation, and it has always been our business model to have it this way. That said. Someone is always on the property or 5 min away to help. I am bummed you didn't enjoy it.

My partner and I really enjoyed the quietness of the property and how secluded and peaceful it felt. We were not there long enough to check out the entire property so we definitely plan on coming back!

Exceeded Expectations!
The Lodges on Vashon exceeded our expectations! My girlfriend and I celebrated our two year anniversary and stayed for 2 nights, the lodges we're cozy and warm with an incredible feeling! Very quiet and right near the small town of Vashon.

Beautiful property and lodging! Quiet and cozy. Looks newly built. Very walkable to downtown Vashon. Dog friendly is a plus. It will be better if they provide a small stove since the kitchen is quite spacious. The pillows and bed are too soft for our liking though. Also, we found several ants and insects especially near the kitchen area.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lodges on Vashon. The Lodge is roomy, with plenty of space for a family to lounge around and take it easy. The shared patio was also a great place to sit and read in the swings and relax. The kids enjoyed the board games provided for entertainment. They also enjoyed the lawns and meadows around the property. Vashon Island is quaint and the perfect escape from the city scape, but our stay at the Lodges made it even better! Alhough there isn't a front desk/conceirge on the property, the staff was easily accessible via call or text and immediately responded to our needs. We want to come back and spend more time here!
