"What a beautiful family-run Casa! Old-world charm meets with comfort and convenience. The common areas are so inviting and interesting to browse. We looked forward to head over for breakfast and see what delights would be offered. Always well set up with an excellent variety. Our room was nice and large - very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom amenities (towel warmer, double sized shower with great water pressure, etc.). "

"Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. "

"The location is truly stunning. The view from the top floor and pool area is so spectacular. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was top quality and so much choice. Pool and bar area was beautiful. Town was extremely quiet when we were there and unsure of walking around at night. Exceptional wine tour by Bambuti arranged by hotel. Overall a nice stay. "
