The property is very clean and modern. The host is friendly and responsive. There are many steps leading up to the unit making it difficult to travel with stroller and luggage. The unit is at the back of the building right by the train track which can be slightly noisy for those who are more sensitive. The unit cannot support using more than one electronic device at a time (e.g., electric kettle & hair dryer or washer) which can be a bit inconvenient at times. Other than that, the unit is very nice and comfortable.

OMG Lake Como in Varenna was Amazing! We stayed at the Amazing Life House for five nights in May 2025. The Amazing Life House is actually an apartment on the back side of a condo/apartment rental building near the Varenna Ferry dock. The apartment is very well appointed with a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room. We really liked that the apartment included a washing machine so we could do laundry and a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and dishwasher so we could make breakfast each morning. The ferry is a 5-minute downhill walk from the apartment and there is a grocery store and cafe right across the street. Varenna is a walkable city with all the major attractions like the Lovers Walk (along the lakefront) and the Villas Monastero and Cipressi about 10-minutes away. If you plan to visit the Castle Vezio, wear your hiking shoes as it is a steep uphill incline the whole way (about 45 minutes). Also, I recommend taking the cobblestone stair path that is near the Amazing Life House. Do not try to get to Vezio Castle from the other end of town (by the villas), as that path is extremely rocky and steep and part of the path collapsed down the mountainside, making the climb quite treacherous. People seemed to be ignoring the "path closed" signs and going that way anyway. Because this is an apartment, you need to go to the Varenna Holidays tours desk (138 Via Venini) to get your key, which is only a few blocks away and not hard to find. Overall great experience!

Great apartment with plenty of space. Modern setup so no local charm but the town makes up for that. Having washer/dryer was wonderful. We would have loved a few extra hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. Property managers were very responsive.

Perfect location, large spacious modern ground floor apartment. Really comfty beds including the sofa bed. Air con in bedroom was fantastic. Air con in sitting was good. Few minutes walk to bus stop, ferry and about 9 minutes to restaurants over looking the Lake. There a few local restaurants and convenience shop. I was discussing as there is no outdoor furniture. This was the deciding factor for booking the apartment. The photos on Expedia are out of date for the outdoor space. Verenna holidays the hosts are fantastic! Very responsive and helpful. They are only 100 -200m away. We had a fantastic time.

Overall it was a great location and was the perfect choice for getting the train or ferries which were both a few minutes walk away. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and was quiet. The only thing that I could say for improvement was to provide an iron as well as a broom and dustpan as we broke a glass and it was difficult to clean up all the tiny pieces of glass by hand.
