I loved my stay here for three nights. Street parking was convenient, and it's an easy walk to the walled city. They serve a very good breakfast and have a bar for a nightcap. I loved the lay out of the room. The people at reception were kind and helpful.

This hotel isn't located on an especially lovely block, but it is within a block of the walled old town and harbor. We stayed during the pandemic of 2020 and they did a very good job of protecting their guests while still delivering in person front desk and breakfast services. The room was clean and comfortable.

Hotel in great position to explore old city. Staff knowledgeable, helpful and spoke good English which made it easier. Room a good size and quiet.

Punches well above it’s 2 stars
Charming and thoroughly helpful staff. Easy....I mean really easy check in...good value breakfast. The room was a little jaded around the edges, but we felt the value for money was outstanding...we’d stay again. If you want honest, real and friendly charm, and don’t need tiny bottles of fancy shampoos in your room, this is the place to stay in Vannes.

Close to town centre, you can walk to the harbour in 10 minutes, parking at hotel means no worries about where to leave the car, there is a small charge for this but's it's woth it.

Nice little hotel, well located
Nice little hotel, a 5-minute walk away from the Vannes old town area, in a good commercial neighborhood. The room was small, on par with French size standards, and the bathroom was large. It was comfortable and clean. We did not have breakfast on site as there is a bakery across the street. Parking is on the street. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.

Great location and good value.
The Hotel is small but beautifully decorated and maintained. The location is good, being a five minute walk to the medieval quarter and walled city. Parking is on the street and is metered, but was not a problem.

A fantastic hotel and location
The hotel was very clean and modern and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a short distance from the centre of the old town as well. A perfect place to stay while in Quimper

Decent hotel with a nice breakfast
There is limited hotel parking, but we got spots on the street without an issue. The reception sent us to the bakery across the street for change for the meter -a bit ridiculous. The elevator is so small that only one of us could fit with a big suitcase, and we are not big people! The room was clean and nicely appointed, but very small. In addition, the noise transmission between rooms was annoying; fortunately our fellow guests did not blare TVs and the like, yet we could hear lots of movement around us.

Vannes twin bed room
Visiting family in Vannes. Very welcoming Reception Staff. A very basic cheap & cheerful ageing hotel with small rooms. It's main advantage being it is very close to the centre of Vannes.

Difficult due to a heat wave
I don't want to write a negative review because what we experienced in terms of weather conditions was truly exceptional and unlikely to be repeated more than once or twice a year. The thermometer on the pharmacy across the road went up to 40 degrees on one day! However, if you visit during the summer months you may have to take into account that the rooms have no air conditioning and there are no fans in the rooms. I stayed for three nights and rarely slept for more than a couple of hours without having to take a shower even in the middle of the night. However, it is in a good location, there's secure parking as long as you don't have a tall vehicle (we just got our Ford Galaxy in but it needed one to drive and the other to get out and guide the driver for overhead obstacles). There is a Eu 6.50 per night charge for this though. Parking is free on the street up until 0900 hrs. Probably the only other word of warning is to take the breakfast cost into consideration when assessing the overall cost of the stay. I think Eu 9.50 is a bit steep for that class of hotel and this needs to be factored into your budget. However, the staff are great and location is pretty central for everything and easy walking distance of the railway station and old town. I would recommend it even taking into account the above considerations.

Great central location to train station as well as the city center. Small room, as expected, but very clean and quite comfortable. Staff was helpful and spoke enough English to help me, though I did not need that much from them. Sorry I was here only 1 day.

Hotel Manche Ocean Vannes.
We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions, and find the hotel location, excellent for exploring Vannes. The secure parking is an additional benefit. The staff are very helpful, and friendly, and able to assist with any language (French/English) issues. The rooms are very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Top marks throughout.

Very nice continental breakfast. Staff very helpful. Conveniently close to old town. Main downside was that the room was very small; could just about squeeze down each side of the bed; virtually nowhere to put baggage.

Sufficient for the business traveler
We found our way on foot from the train station. It was downhill going there, so no problem for the luggage (but we got dropped off on the way back, so I did not experience trying to drag the luggage uphill). Room was quite small, but it had everything it needed, including an en-suite bathroom. Free wireless worked fine. Front desk staff quite friendly. The hotel is also located just 5 minutes walk from the old town, so if you have a little bit of free time to look around, everything is right there.

quand je suis arrivé à l'hotel, on m'a avisé que ma réservation avait été annulé par WebBeds (???). J'ai du refaire une réservation dans une chambre plus chère et payer a nouveau. Je comprend pas qui est WebBeds, et comment ils ont pu annuler ma reservation. Qui va me rembourser le payment, car j'a payé deux fois, une fois en faisant la réservation, et une autre à l'hotel.
