. There were few residents and it was very quiet. One member of staff stood out as being excellent and speaking English, we believe his name is Marco or Mario. This hotel could be so much more popular if it were to focus on a specific market. The decor is 50's period but this could add to its charm. It has all the facilities you could want, but would be difficult for disabled people."

We would recommend doing the wine tasting in one of the historic kitchens with Diogo, who was excellent! Our stay was one to remember."
