The hotel pool and bar area was better than the photos suggest and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The free shuttle bus to the old town (or beach) is a super service and needed given the options for buses and expensive taxis. You don't want people's valuables and passports to get wet inside the safe that's meant to protect them. On the upside, the hotel provides a shuttle service (a "navette") to and from the Ajaccio airport, which is convenient. Also, you can take the beach shuttle right outside the hotel, which will get you to various beaches in the "Rive Sud." "
