Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Hotel room was as expected, the cost of breakfast and use of Spa facilities is extra and a little bit on the expensive side (which is why we did not make use of this). "I was on foot so about 15 minute walk from Station with no straight path not great. If staying for Como the last train out is 10pm & taxis expensive. Hotel is fine, with a big car park so good if on driving tour of area."
