"Clean room, Clean hotel Nate at the front desk that checked us in was very kind. We had a wonderful experience, close to the train we planned to go to silverton was like a 7 min, drive from the Hampton, not over crowded with people, breakfast was good and went smooth always had a stock in the food. kept it clean. They provided office HOT wonderful coffee day and night that was a big PLUS for me and my husband since we love to drink one cup in the morning and one cup in the evening the coffee was ALWAYS FRESH. overall I would stay again, it was quite and staff was very friendly."

"The breakfast and pool/hot tub were best i've ever experienced!!! Very clean and cozy. Perfect location and staff were very helpful. My only negative note would be it was a bit expensive for my budget, but I think it was definitely worth the splurge because I had a much better experience here than large chain hotels."

"The property was very clean and had gorgeous views. We reserved the executive suite and had so much room to ourselves! It was great the pool and hot tub were so relaxing. We were wanting to have breakfast at the restaurant downstairs since there were so many tables open but we stood and waited for 15 minutes at the host podium and no one acknowledged us or let us know if there were any wait times for seating. So we left and decided to get breakfast in Durango instead. Other than that the stay was great and we had a fantastic time!"

"The general palmer was a beautiful stay! We were booked in the building next to the main building and the only access to those rooms were by stairs. This wasn't a big deal for us but if you're planning on staying I would let the helpful staff know ahead of time if you will need an elevator. The small buffet breakfast was absolutely amazing! It filled our bellies before our train ride. 10 out of 10 will book again!"
