"This was probably the worst LaQuinta I’ve ever stayed in, and it’s my go to hotel when vacationing. It’s a very very old building, which I didn’t realize. The grounds are unkempt, as in leaves all over the parking lot, cracked cement from tree roots, potholes, dirty. The reception area is nice enough, but it stinks like old urine inside the rooms, and on the second floor by the vending machines. Just filthy. The vending machines do not work well at all, either. It ate my money and I had to go back to the desk and get the tool to fish it out myself. Room 102 was disgusting to out it lightly. It stunk so bad in there that I had to re wash all of the clothes I bought in the suitcase because the air coming out of the AC was rancid. There was a huge stain on that area old, stinky carpet right where you get up off the bed, the sheets were pilled beyond belief, the pillows were very lumpy and not comfortable. The bathroom was really nasty. Mold in the extremely tiny shower, old, OLD faucet that was either too hot or too cold, constant drips from the faucet, all of the corners between the walls and the floor had crumbled away and had dirt in them, and when I awoke on the second day of my 4 night stay, the toilet had leaked all over the floor in the bathroom. That’s when I packed up. The girl with the pink hair was very understanding and refunded me for the rest of my stay. Usually all LaQuintas have a stellar breakfast…not this one. Worst hotel ever. I can still smell it. Rancid"

"I recently stayed at Studio 6 Extended Stay and had a very disappointing experience. The property is extremely worn down and not clean. My room was dirty upon arrival, with unclean cabinets and even a roach in the bathroom. Several advertised amenities were missing or didn’t work; no coffee maker or toaster, and the microwave was broken and never fixed, forcing me to buy my own for my 5-night stay. There was also no silverware or plates, which is unusual for an extended stay. The main ceiling light was also not functional. The shower was poorly designed, with the curtain cutting the space in half, and the water pressure was very weak. The bed was also uncomfortable. Basic operations were frustrating; my room key stopped working every night, so I had to go to the front desk daily to reprogram it. To get fresh towels, you have to bring your dirty ones to the lobby instead of having them delivered. The lobby consistently smelled like marijuana, and the parking lot had broken-down cars sitting long-term. There were also late-night disturbances with people arguing, fighting and slamming doors. Overall, this property needs major improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and management. I would not stay here again."

"Complete review can be found in Google Reviews https://maps.app.goo.gl/VapETZfeBNRp9beG8 Resort: (5 Star) Everything the other 5 star reviews mentioned is ~true; relatively quiet/low traffic area, very nice place, very nice/clean beach/waterfront/Ocean/views/walks, nice free use of beach chairs/umbrellas, and tables outside the breakfast area for great ocean views while eating, nice pool area, but pool didn't seem to be heated well as ocean was warmer, nice sorta clean rooms (our feet were black walking on our room's tile floor after it had been 'cleaned & inspected' before check-in and the white wet towel we used to mop the floor with was black too afterwards), We were on the South side 6th floor w/ a very comfortable King bed & large balcony with a nice view and breezes for the Ocean and Intercostal waterway. Room layout was an "Accessible King Room, Garden View" This one was bit unusual as the shower, sink, & toilet were all in the same large walk-in shower area, so at times it was difficult to keep from getting everything wet. 'Kitchen' area was merely a countertop, decent size compact refrigerator, and small microwave and no sink. I think it had a coffee maker, but with 'standard' mystery coffee packets provided. The complementary coffee outside of the Office was lacking as well. Breakfast was good/hot on weekends, average/cold/starchy on weekdays; but both had good coffee, fruit and nice Bagels. I would probably stay again. Valet Parking: (3-star)"

"We stayed there prior to this stay and we had a room with two double beds and it was much cleaner and nicer and roomier. This time we stayed in a room with one king bed and it was musty and not as nice as our prior room. The worst part of the stay is their Starbucks coffee bar the server who operates it has horrible customer service. She arrives right at 7 o’clock a.m when it’s suppose to be open ready to serve. I would’ve had more patience with her if she greeted me with a smile and said “just give me a few minutes to get everything together”, but she is a very sour person."

"The property was packed, took 30 mins to get coffee. The property needs to figure out the pool seat situation as people held seats never showed up. Kids everywhere running crazy parents not watching. Crazy!!! Especially when you pay ridiculous prices for rooms food etc… "
