SH Colon is a modern, convenient hotel located in Valencia’s city centre. It’s in the main shopping area and close to the historic old town. This made it easy to get around, and there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. I booked a standard double room and it was clean and comfortable. Unlike usual hotel rooms though, this room didn’t have a separate private bathroom. Instead, there was a toilet room, a shower that led straight out to the bedroom, and a separate sink and vanity area. This wasn’t an issue for us since we’re a couple but could be awkward for other people staying together. I would’ve preferred a separate bathroom—which you can probably get with a premium room. There was no natural light in the room because the window looked into the hotel, but it wasn’t a big issue. I liked that they provided many different toiletry items and a hairdryer. Housekeeping was great every day. AC made the room comfortable. Overall it was a great stay and I’d choose this hotel again.

Overall the stay was good. However, the areas for improvement include: the smell inside the showers, the pillows were difficult to sleep on, & the noise from neighbours was loud through the walls.

The cleaning people came and left their hair on toilet. In the US the night would have Been free or even the stay. Staff were sweet but head person not In. Gave a minimal discount. Not recommended not worth the cost

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Hotel entrance was small and sandwiched between two large shops. However, its location was excellent and close to everything. We had a great stay there.

Lovely hotel in the centre of town by the bullring. Easy check in and check out. The rooms were clean and well kept if just a little on the small side. I was surprised that the rooms didn’t have a kettle or coffee machine. The staff at the hotel are what made this stay incredible for us, super friendly, super helpful and just made the experience great.

Location Location Location!! The hotel is located right next to the train station and metro stop. It is within walking distance to all historical landmarks. Staff are friendly and nice under new management. Room is maintained at good conditions although could be improved by adding a water kettle and refreshments. Overall enjoyed the short stay in Valencia - will be happy to come back again.

Great place, central, modern, comfortable. Close to shops. Walking distance to the sights. Only slight fault was one of the rooms had an unusual layout where the shower was in the bedroom so the other person could see. Would stay again.
