Friendly staff, tidy rooms, good breakfast. Perfectly located near city centre and a very nice park. Both within a short walk’s distance.

The centrally located hotel in Valence.
The Hotel is very good located in the center of the city. The staff is friendly and try to adjust to the needs of the guests, which sometimes are not completely fulfilled. It is very clean, no bedbugs. Excellent breakfast.

Great stay in a charming city
We really loved this hotel. Great location. The parking was very handy but you should book this in advance! Only downside was there was no lamp by the bed in the junior suite, minor suggestion!

Great location, safe parking, helpful reception, v pet friendly, comfortable room, super lovely bed linen, quiet aircon. Third time staying and will definitely be back. If you have dogs, lots of green spaces nearby for the to stretch their legs and v near the old square and some v nice restaurants.

The Hotel de France is commentary to the train and many excellent restaurants. The room was quiet at night and the bed was firm which I find very comfortable. I'll pass on 2 restaurant recommendations from the concierge: Bistro de la Clercs and Victor Hugo Cafe. I liked VHC best for excellent food and good pricing.

Nice hotel in a good central location. Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Negative points - Paper cups for coffee leaked, carpet was stained, issue with bill when leaving.

Brilliant central Valence hotel.
Great location, very central, but room was very quiet in the evening. Staff all very friendly and super helpful. Checking in and out was very quick and easy. Room super clean, modern and tasteful and with a very comfortable bed and a great shower.

Excellent hotel in good location.
Excellent overnight stay. Private secure parking, some under cover with immediate access to reception and rooms. Lovely receptionist, who advised us on a delightful brasserie nearby. Very comfortable room with good quiet a/c which was essential in extreme heat. Located a few mi utes from a large shopping mall with restaurants. N.b. car park entrance is just before hotel entrance. A delightful stay!

Quickest check-in I’ve ever had. Super friendly desk staff. Great location and the free parking was fantastic. Didn’t take breakfast there as there were several patisseries and cafes nearby.

The location was great and we only Stayed for one night. Our room on the 3rd floor could have used some updating. But our friends had a modern room on the 1st floor so likely just depends when you get!

The room was dirty, there was foreign hair on the linens and bathroom was not cleaned. While the staff checking in was pleasant, the staff checking out was rude and made a very poor impression.

Very well run family hotel. Staff outstanding in terms of friendliness and efficiency. Excellent breakfast Private parking at reasonable price. The location is perfect as only a few minutes walk to the old town and to all bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend it for a city break

Jewel in the heart of town
My room is perfect with all the amenities I would expect. The terrace was my favorite… For breakfast, and then for late afternoon cocktails and reading my book into the night. The staff was so helpful in suggesting day trips from balance… Small towns that I would never have discovered.
