"The property is breathtaking. The views, walking paths, history- everything is beautiful and peaceful. Although room was small, we didn’t spend much time inside- so many things to enjoy outside. "Check in was great, with a welcome glass of Port. Breakfast was perfect every morning with plenty of options and very scenic views. Room was little dated and the area itself is secluded. If you’re looking for that, than this is the spot. The highlight of the trip in Douro was the wine tour about an hour away. Beautiful area beautiful resort. "

"All I can say is run to this Quinta! This was the highlight of our trip, by far. The staff was exceptional; as is the property which was very clean. We stayed at the outer building and had a pool all to ourselves, along with a lemon tree & breathtaking views. The restaurant on the property was great and the breakfast was just right, offering plenty of fresh options. The wait staff was friendly and professional, offering great wine paring options for every course of every meal. A short walk brings you to the nearby city where you can take a river cruise or walk to two other vineyards to do a wine tasting. The staff arranged a driver to take us to other Quintas for wine, cheese, bread and honey tastings. It was fabulous. We will be back for sure!!!"
