"Stayed one night while on our way to exploring the Kenai Peninsula. The hotel seems to have been renovated recently - new paint and carpets. The room was pretty basic with no AC unit although there was a thermostat on the wall for some reason. The room was hot so we had to open the windows to circulate air but got eaten alive by mosquitoes as the windows had no bug mesh. Lady at the front desk was a bit rude when I brought this to her attention. The bedsheets were quite nice and felt luxurious...
"Totally misrepresented when I booked through Expedia. It was Dry cabin with an outhouse for a toilet - no shower or sink. No WiFi in the cabin, and I also didn’t have a Mountain View as advertised. Wife and I left shortly after check in."
"Fred was so kind and helpful. He guided us to some local spots to see wildlife and take in some yummy foods. We were able to catch sights of salmon, momma bear and her two cubs and a moose!!"
"Wonderful property!! Our room was fantastic and clean. We got on with a balcony and the views were perfect. Definitely our go to hotel while down in Valdez!!"
