"What a fantastic hotel, beyond my expectations. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful from the front desk to restaurant staff. The breakfast is fantastic even with piano being played! Dinner was really nice again with piano. The room was spotless, super clean, with kettle, coffee maker, fridge even a pair of binoculars to look out in the harbour. The view from my room was amazing. Location is perfect for meeting excursions and close to every thing Best hotel I've stayed at in Norway "

"Great for our needs. No TV. Small beds. Safe. Small town. No lighting outside so careful entering when dark. This is most likely for viewing Northern lights. We used a flashlight. No staff or reception here. PROs: Beautiful location and views. Simple. On the water. Saw Northern Lights right outside the door. Easy check-in. (Cell service is strong across the islands, so no problem getting check-in email. Plus many places of business have free wifi.) CONs: Not many parking spaces compared to number of rooms. Need a bathmat of some sort. Shower water gets all over the floor. Need a lower outlet to use the kettle."

"We had a fab stay - the staff in particular Myja and Francis were very helpful and accomodating - problems with delayed luggage which they helped solve. Breakfast was varied and delicious! "

"Incredible stay at Skårungen. We particularly loved the ability to book the private spa area - complete with sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge - the incredibly friendly staff, the amazing views in every direction, and the beautifully kept main area/lounge in the main building. Our waterfront cabin was cozy and a lovely place to stay."
