This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Peru. Elton was incredibly kind, helpful, and always eager to assist us in every way. The complimentary breakfast was also the best meal we had in Peru. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the hotel’s location was perfect—just a short walk from the main plaza, yet tucked away in a quiet area. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly!

The staff at this hotel were so kind and helpful! They spoke a decent amount of English and were incredibly helpful with arranging transportation for our day trips and seeing to all of our needs. We’ve just had two nights at the hotel, it was fabulous. Ivan went out of his way to make our stay perfect. He recommended places to visit and eat, booked tours, changed money, helped with our plans and got up to make us breakfast at 6am before we left. This is a hidden gem in the middle of Urubamba. We didn't have high expectations when booking, but were very impressed upon staying there. The rooms were modern and clean. Perhaps a couple steps down from luxurious, but much nicer that many American 3star hotels. Breakfast was included and they are generous with offerings. STaff is eager to make your stay comfortable, and you are just steps away from all the action. What a great find! and We would happily stay here again.

Excellent service and central location

Marcia and Frida went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms on the 3rd floor were clean and warm, which was the first time in our 3 week stay in Peru that we didn’t feel cold at night. Prime location…walkable to the markets, plaza, and bus terminal. Simple great.

They double charged me using a credit card, and I am still working on getting that fixed with my bank. It's a real pain. They also called for my Taxi to Cusco and then tried to charge me double the cost of the Taxi. Be alert - this hotel is nice and in a great area, but they are not honest and transparent. Watch your wallet.

Foi íncrível o atendimento que recebemos. Enfrentamos um período de greve geral e a equipe do Hotel Andes nos apoiou o tempo todo, fornecendo informação e nos passando tranquilidade. O hotel fica em uma rua estreita mas muito bem localizado (2 quadras do mercado municipal, 4 quadras da praça principal e muito próximo a bons restaurantes). Ficamos em um quarto amplo com camas extremamente confortáveis. otimos travesseiros, lençóis brancos e perfumados. A cortina não é black out mas impede que a luminosidade da manhã entre. A TV em muitas opções de canais. A decoração do quarto é elegante e o banheiro é moderno. Conta com toalhas grandes e brancas. Possui kit de sabonete e shampoo. O chuveiro tem agua quente com pouca pressão mas nada que impressa um bom banho. O café da manhã tem salada de frutas, suco, paes, manteiga, frios e café. Adorei a hospedagem mas quero destacar o excelente atendimento. Me deixou segura e tranquila. Muito obrigada!! Realmente gostei da hospedagem e recomendo muito que se hospedem no Hotel Andes.

I stayed at this hotel on four different occasions while traveling between Cusco and the sacred valley. Beyond the excellent location I can highly recommend the WiFi. I needed good internet for work, and here I had downloads of 60mbps and uploads of 10mbps, totally sufficient for a streaming video conference call. In addition—hopefully this won’t be necessary much longer—superb cleaning practices for those with concerns about Covid. Great hospitality. By the last visit I felt like family!

This new hotel is centrally located in Urubamba...1 block from the central market and a 10 min walk to the Peru Rail train station. This a family owned hotel where the atmosphere is a 'home away from home'. The hotel staff are very gracious and helpful to accommodate one's travel needs...transfer to/from Cusco Airport, train station, laundry or best restaurants nearby. The premises are meticulously cleaned, rooms are cozy, beds are 5-star worthy and the panoramic views from the 4th floor breakfast hall are spectacularly breathtaking.

Lovely property to stay in when visiting Urumbamba and the sacred called. Nice, new comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay a very comfortable one. They arranged a return taxi to Ollantaytambo for only 77 Sol and a transfer service to Urumbamba station for 5 Sol. I had to catch a 6:50am train to Machu Picchu and the prepared my breakfast at 5:45am so I had plenty of time to enjoy the amazing view from the dining room. I’ll be choosing this property for my next visit to Urumbamba and highly recommend it to any traveller looking for a good hotel in the area.
