We really liked our room, it was modern, clean & the communal kitchen & complimentary bottled water was a plus. The beds were comfy and the room was well equipped for our toddler and baby, with a baby changing table, potty and step. The staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us, especially as my partner had a dairy allergy, they contacted the bakery for allergens and made him fried eggs as the eggs usually on offer contained dairy. Our only niggle (which the guest house can't do anything about)...

Excellent rural area but well connected by an hourly bus to Lake Titisee. Other services available if required Hotel is only a 20 minute mostly downhill walk to Lake Titisee but steep uphill back. The guesthouse was situated in a very pleasant area of the Black Forest, over 1000 metres above sea level. Excellent views, a car is essential. There are plenty of pleasant walks in the area and a number of places you can obtain an evening meal close by. The black forest gateaux was excellent for afternoon cake and coffee. Just be aware you need to have cash to settle your bill at the end of your stay. This is quite common in Germany.

everything about the hotel was super. the food was really excellent. we took the set menu option but wanted soup instead of salad. and they were great about it and did not even charge extra.
