Le Vasa Resort
10/10 Excellent
"This is a quiet little resort tucked away on a peninsula close to the airport and two ferry terminals. We loved our oceanside villa, it was very private with nice views and the covered deck area meant we could enjoy sitting outdoors even when it was raining. The interior was comfortable and had the character of the islands. Very comfortable bed and the bathroom was large, with a great shower. The restaurant meals were delicious and the staff very attentive, even on busy evenings. There wasn't alot to do, there is not much beach and its mostly clay. Not good for snorkeling or kayaking either as the currents can be strong. The pool is a good size and depth, but was very chlorinated. However, the overall feel was very relaxing. The staff were very helpful in arranging a car hire for us for a day trip into Apia and to explore more of the island. Thank you Le Vasa for a lovely stay."

"Thin walls, not particularly sound proof. Room were clean as was pool and beach area but other grounds were a bit junky. Dinner at the outdoor restaurant was excellent"

"A good resort choice if you want to stay in downtown Apia, as opposed to the coastal hotels on the west and south coasts. Just remember there is no beach access at this resort, so you will have to make do with the quite nice pool and bar area! The location on Main Beach Road is a short walk to the limited attractions of downtown Apia, including a few restaurants and cafes, the fish and produce markets, Samoa Cultural Village and McDonalds! The rooms are spacious and reasonably clean, with good sized bathrooms, large screen TVs and basic facilities like bar fridge and tea & coffee. Food choices from the bar are limited, but tasty. Breakfast in the dining area was fine with a buffet style featuring the normal mix of western dishes and fresh fruits, drip coffee and juices. Unless you are using pre-booked tours (which the resort can organise), you will really need a car to maximise your stay in Samoa by visiting some of the beautiful beaches and waterfalls. Fortunately the resort has ample parking available. In summary, an older resort that is showing its age, but still offering a reasonable experience. Just don't expect the same 4 star facilities that you might be used to in the big city locations."
Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey's Hotel & Bungalows

"I think I expected too much; it was definitely a great experience, but there is still a lot of work to do within the top floors of the hotel. The lifts weren't working to go directly to our floor, and I was with my 76-year-old mother, so we went the roundabout way and the shower wasn't accessible for her as it's still within the bathtub, which was too high for her to be able to climb in and out safely. Breakfast is definitely 10/10 with alot of options. Convenient location."

"This is a hidden gem! Love the location as it's away from the hustle and bustle of Apia but not too far. It was very clean; the executive room I was in was perfect, and it was quiet enough even with events on in their main area. I will definitely look to book with these guys again; the staff were amazing. Love the shower outside; I just didn't have hot water, which I could've followed up on, but I was too relaxed and chilled to bother. 10/10 for me!"
