It's a quaint property on hwy. 17. The check in was easy and the rooms are very clean and well maintained. The owner is very friendly and helpful. She gave us suggestions on places to visit and eat nearby. I highly recommend and will stay here again.

We stayed at the Coach House motel one night when traveling through on our circle tour of the lake. It’s an older motel but the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nicely updated. The owners are extremely friendly, I would recommend this place when needing a place to stay when in the Terrace Bay area. Very reasonably priced.

Check in was easy, room was very clean and comfortable. It’s not super far out from Terrace Bay so getting food and supplies isn’t an issue. Only 45mins from Marathon as well. Worth the money I’ll be staying here again.

Great location, clean interiors, beautiful view when you wake up. Love it all around. Just make sure you have enough to eat before coming over since there’s no eating spots close by.

It's a great motel, very friendly owners/ staff. Clean and well maintained. Microwave and fridge, small coffee maker with complimentary coffee. Great value stop. Be aware no restaurants close by. We bought food to heat in the microwave.

We were happy to park outside the door and use the fridge and freezer in our room to store our food in. There was a microwave so you can pick up food in Terrace Bay or Marathon and heat it up in the room for your supper.

Charming motel. Helpful staff. Exceptionally neat and clean. Not near restaurants, so eat elsewhere, but a convenient place to pull off of the Trans-Canada highway. Surprisingly peaceful, with has a nice view. A great place to take a break from driving and have a good nights sleep. We would stay here again.

The coach house motel exceeded all our expectations. The rooms and grounds were immaculate. We traveled through Canada and stayed in seven hotels and this was the best. The chrome in the bathroom literally gleamed. It was the cleanest room by far. It is clear that the owners take pride in this motel and it shows in everything from the bed ruffles, black out curtains, tasteful decorating touches and art work, and beautiful landscaping. It had everything we needed. We will be staying here again. It is a hidden gem.

The front desk staff was very friendly, helpful and responded immediately via messages prior to our visit. The property however was very disappointing. The best thing I can say is that the bedding was very very clean. Our room smelled musty, the carpet should have been replaced 2decades ago, and the tub (although technically clean) appeared very dirty at first glance. This motel is so old that there wasn’t even a plug in the bathroom for a hair dryer. The pavement outside our door way crumbling and a hazard to anyone with mobility issues. For the life of me, I cannot understand how this place has a rating of over 8/10. I’d give it a 4 at best. As I said earlier, great staff, terrible property
