We rented the 3 apt villa for a family of 6. It was not clear in the description that the rooms were all separate and one was upstairs. The living spaces are outdoors. It was very spacious but we had planned on being more together like you would in a house. The bathrooms were not clean, lots of mildew. The staff was friendly and helpful. Often felt rushed at breakfast due to over eagerness for staff to remove plates and dishes. Wished they would just remove once we were done eating. There is no longer a shuttle service as described in the Expedia review so we had to call for rides. Staff also arranged a driver for us when we were departing.

The villa was incredible. Private pool. Two levels with balcony overlooking a rice patty field. Outdoor living area. Stunningly beautiful. And the best part of the Villa however was our driver, Ariawan "Ari". Ari picked us up from the airport and drove us wherever we wanted for our 3 day stay in Ubud. He gave us great recommendations on places to go. During our drives he told us lots of info about the fascinating history and culture of Bali. He happily answered my many questions too. He even drove us to Nusa Dua and spent a full day there driving us around. His prices were quite affordable. I highly recommend the Villa and Ari's driving services. Our vacation would not have been as enjoyable without him.

We love the staff here all so friendly and helpful, lovely big Villa and driver Nyoman is amazing, lots of information he gives you while driving and always willing to take you whenever and wherever. We will definitely be back

Uma Padi was amazing. 5 of us rented out the entire property for our stay. The one bedroom villa, pool and garden view room was well appointed with a comfy 4 poster bed and amazing bathroom with large tub and stone shower. The staff was readily available and made a delicious breakfast for us each day. We had a lovely outdoor kitchen in a beautiful outdoor garden with plunge pool. I highly recommend Uma Padi if you want to away from the hustle and bustle of the center of town, but want to be close enough to be walkable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Uma Padi villas. The Villa was really well appointed, with a comfy 4 poster bed, gorgeous bathroom with a giant tub and seperate rain shower (with good water pressure!), and the pool was a great size. The place was really clean and the staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back ourselves on our next trip to Bali.

Very unique, small family villas, a little outside of Ubud, so would be convenient to arrange a daily driver or rent a motorbike. But the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, we had an authentic Ubud experience there

Amazing value
I had a very nice stay here. The villa is private, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and breakfast is delivered to your villa at a time specified by you. The location is just 10 minutes by bike along a straight road to the town centre.

Only like the fact that it has a private pool. The rest are pretty disappointing. Property not maintained well, linens cleanliness are poor - in fact, the comforter smells bad. Staff coordination is superb lousy or don’t keep their words. Had requested for late check out by an hour when checkin. Despite being granted after a call, 2 other staffs kept telling me that I must check out by 12 on 2 separate occasions the next day, which is super annoying.

Awesome stay at a great villa
Extremely pleased with our stay here. From the beginning we were welcomed and treated very well. The staff are very pleasant and catered to our every wish. The villa is very well set up in a quiet area with a great view. Just outside the centre of Ubud away from all the huddle and bustle but just a short drive from everything. King size bed in the villa was great and the pool is the perfect size for us. We had the pleasure of doing a two day tour with Nyoman one of the owners. He was amazing, showing us all the big attractions in the area and taking the time to teach us about the local Balinese culture. He answered all our questions and has great knowledge about the local area. He is a very polite and gracious host. We arrived as guests and left as friends. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who would like to see a part of the real Bali. Thank you Wayan, Nyoman and all the staff......

The villa was absolutely beautiful and service was great. Location is very peaceful and its a short drive from the city. Only sad thing was that the pool was too cold to swim in.

Feels like home away from home
Villa provides 1 round trip of free shuttle service everyday to and fro ubud central to villa. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a rice field view outside the villa (not really visible from inside the villa). I was very afraid of mosquitoes and so I put the mosquito coil at the door so that I can burn it at night. I return to my room the following night to realise that the staff has burned it for me! What a pleasant surprise. Do not expect the house and furnishing to be 4 5 stars standard. They're a homely stay for everyone where you'll meet down to earth people. They offer half/full day tour and massage services in the villa at reasonable rates. You can chill in villa whole day. Truly enjoy my stay there with Uma Padi.

Nice quiet villa with private pool
Very friendly staff with a lot of local knowlegde. Only short drive/scooter to Ubud centre. Villa was very clean and private with nice view over a rice field.

Beyond my exectations
This is beautiful Modern, clean , awesome owners and good breaky. Would be stupid not to stay here . Just outside Ubud and quiet spot but very near cafes for dinner Lived it Thank you all for treating us as family

The 1 bedroom that I had booked had a very small courtyard with no direct sun on the pool. It was also overlooked by both the windows and balconies of the 2 adjoining villas so absolutely no privacy in the pool / courtyard area. The owners did allow me to stay in a 3 bedroom villa which had an amazing courtyard area and beautiful, sunny pool. Unfortunately the bathroom and kitchen areas are very old and need a serious makeover. The English breakfast was very poor with no toast for the eggs and only 1 strip of bacon. On leaving I was asked to pay a 3.5% charge for paying with my visa which was not mentioned when I made the booking

A relaxing and rustic stay at Uma Padi
Amazing stay here at Uma Padi. Nothing like a chorus of roosters waking you up in the morning. In the midst of a rice field, the amount of green soothes your senses. The service from Uma Padi is impeccable and they even provide short hops to Ubud should you need one. Also if needed are day tours which day can arrange for you.

Modern villa with deep pool
New family run villa with great size pool that you can actually swim in. Located in quiet laneway not to far out of Ubud centre. Your hosts will provide a mobile phone and will drop/collect you from the local tourist attractions and restaurants. Nothing is too much trouble, they even gave us a little beat box to play music. Breakfast was delicious, loved the fruit smoothie. Great for couples or larger groups as they can open up the villas to suit. Although they don't mention it in their listing, they can collect you from the airport and drop you back (for a cheaper rate). Large fridge in the outdoor kitchen kept the bingtan COLD. We will be bringing the family back with us.

수영장은 깨끗해 보이진 않았어요. 첫날은 괜찮았는데 밤에 비가 많이 와서 그랬을지도.. 자연친화적이라 벽에 도마뱀, 개구리 있어요. 아이들이 수영하다 신기해서 도마뱀 따라다니고..풀벌레 소리에 잠들고 깨고..좋았어요. 그런거 싫어 하시면 고려해 보세요. 도보 3분거리에 맛난 한식당(클라우드 9)있고, 하루 두번 우붓시내로 무료 셔틀 운행해요(10분소요). 시간이 정해진게 아니라, 투숙객이 원하는 시간에 태워주고, 시내로 태우러 오고..좋았어요.(객실에 리셉션과 연락가능한 전화기가 없는데, 전용 폰을 하나 줘요. 그걸로 우붓시내에서 전화하면 10분만에 태우러 오심) 청소상태나 전반적인 서비스는 나쁘지 않은데..월드체인호텔 수준을 기대하진 마세요. 캐주얼한 서비스 정도?ㅎㅎ 참고로 주변에 뭐가 없긴 한데..셔틀로 시내나갔을 때 사오면 됩니다. 논이라 정말 조용하고..좋았어요. 전 아무거나 잘먹고 무던해서 그런지..좋았어요. 나중에 기회 된다면 한달살고 싶네요.

Great stay off the beaten track
Very friendly staff and caring owner. The villas are gorgeous and outfitted with everything one could need. Good, ample breakfast. The offered motorbike rental and shuttle service are necessary because of the location amidst rice paddies. Somewhat run-down surroundings (almost no warungs or shops) but a glimpse into local life at the same time. The shuttle service could be improved in terms of frequency and organisation. There is a "prayer broadcast" nearby at 6 a.m. which might inconvenience light sleepers. Overall, we had a great time.

En fantastisk oase i Ubud
Fantastisk ophold i rummelig 2-værelses familie-villa med egen pool. Dejlig morgenmad serveres på egen terrasse på eget valgt tidspunkt - en dejlig start på dagen. Uma Padi ligger tilstrækkligt væk fra UBUD centrum til at der er ro og fred, men ikke længere væk end man kan gå ind til centrum med marked , monkey-forest mm på en halv time. Og hvis ikke man ønsker at gå , så er én af de 3 brødre som driver Uma Padi altid klar til at køre dig derhen hvor du ønsker i Ubud. Super ophold , super service …………...i det hele taget en klar anbefaling af Uma Padi - vi ville helt klart vælge Uma Padi igen.

Cosy villa, wonderful view with great staff
The cosy villa is very new and clean with spacious bedroom and bathroom. It's well equipped with all you need including cooking utensils. The private pool and garden is very relaxing with comfortable beach chairs for napping. The area is quiet and surrounding with rice field without any noise from cars and crowds. Restaurants, convenient stores and shops are within walking distant. The delicious breadfast is served in the villa with western or Indonesia style. Western breakfast includes omelet, sausage and bread. Indonesia style includes fried rice or fried noodle. With also juice, coffee and fruits. The owner is a very nice gentleman with fluent English. He provides a mobile phone to contact him anytime. Free shuttle service to city center is also provided without schedule. Very flexible. Just call the owner and he will drive you to and from the place you want to go with useful suggestion and introduction of the area. What a pity I just knew when the owner drove us to airport that he and his brother Ari have a private tour company with excellent commends from TA. The owner is already a great driver and I would definitely book the service if I know that in advance. This villa is highly recommended.
