Incredibly friendly and helpful staff! Daily shuttle (am and pm) to downtown Ubud which was helpful. There are a few restaurants around the resort that are fairly good, especially Waybu Coffee Eatery, but also a quick ride into Ubud for more options!

Beautiful resort but unaccomodating staff
The resort itself was beautiful. Great spot to unwind and relax. The customer service for such a high rated resort in ubud needs a lot of work, sadly not very accommodating and language was quite a barrier sadly. The Shuttle service to ubud needs to be more frequent rather then every 2-3hrs especially when he vehicle is just sitting their for hours on end and on check out we asked if at all possible they could please drop us off at 12 to centre ubud and they said no times of shuttle are 10 and around 2pm. Less star rated places in ubud and Bali surrounds have very accommodating staff and language was no barrier. The breakfast was not hygienic and food left out should be covered as flies land on the open air food with no cover. Rooms are very clean and the resort itself is beautiful.

The property is nice, but a bit remote and not close to anything. This makes it very peaceful and quiet. It is a $6-$10 taxi ride to and from Ubud central, if you go outside the scheduled times for the free shuttle. The thing we didn't really like was the breakfast. The only thing that was served hot and fresh was the cooked eggs. Most of the other items didn't even have the warmers turned on to keep them hot, so things like bacon and sausage were served cold. When I asked them to turn on the warmers, it seemed like a lot of effort. Most of the food is uncovered, which in an outdoor dining facility meant that there were lots of bugs and flies around the food. Most of the staff were very accommodating and eager to please and the rooms are very nice, spacious and clean.

The room was amazing and the staff were amazing. We really only had 2 complaints. The pool looked kinda green and more like a little pond than a pool For swimming and the wifi was not very good in our room sometimes. About 1/3 of the time.

Good value for money. Beautiful small resort. Facilities are great. Nice breakfast and restaurant with convenient shuttle bus to town. I loved the two interconnected rooms. They were huge and each one with bathroom, tv, fridge, balconies etc.. The only inconvenience was water related. They were conducting some maintenance / repair to a water pipe which were not communicated to us. Unexpectedly, I noticed black water coming out of the tap, toilet and bath. It took a while for the water to clear out. The following day we were left without water for 2 hrs due to the same maintenance issue. Again, we were not notified

Amazing HUGE rooms and a beautiful pool and a garden. Very beautiful Balinese style and exceptionally pleasant atmosphere and staff. The only thing is breakfast was just OK for European taste but I would stay again for the beauty of the hotel and space that you get.

This is a nice resort style hotel if you want to enjoy creature comforts while in Ubud. The staff are really friendly. The bed was huge, and they give you an extensive breakfast. There’s also a free shuttle into town based on their schedule. The only downside is they overcharge for add-ons such as massages, drinks, meals, etc.

Very nice resort with large comfortable rooms and all amenities. The grounds and architecture are also very appealing, and appropriate for a central Bali setting. The buffet breakfast (included) was also very good. There was plenty of staff on hand to attend to all one's needs or requests. The location is a bit far from the action of Ubud, but the resort provides a free shuttle (10 minute drive) several times per day.

Quiet Hotel with Very Good Service
This hotel is quite small and a little bit out of the way which makes it a very quiet and peaceful hotel. The staff were fantastic and couldn't be faulted. However, it was a bit far to walk in and out of Ubud (25-30min walk each way) and the shuttle only runs every 4 hours so going for dinner was a bit of a chore if you didn't want to eat in the hotel. The hotel food was delicious and the staff were always eager to help. The pool is quite small and there was no entertainment at the hotel at all so if you are just after peace and quiet, this is perfect for you. Our room was very clean and the coffee/tea making facilities were good and also we liked that the items in the mini-bar were reasonably priced, especially because the nearest shop was a bit of a trek. There was no money changing facilities at the hotel so if you are staying here, make sure you change some first. The lobby of the hotel looks out onto beautiful rice paddies which was nice and added to the serenity. In summary, if you want somewhere to just chill out in a clean, peaceful environment this is for you, especially because it is very reasonably priced.

Good place to stay so long as you know you need hotel bus or taxi into ubud. Nothing much near the hotel bit nice scenery so you need to go into ubud for supermarket. But being out of the ubud air pollution was worth it. Otherwise they have another hotel in the middle of ubud called rama phala. Overall nice quiet stay but felt a bit guilty when the kids got noisy.

Quiet resort
We enjoyed our stay at this resort although we did feel that it was a little way out of the main town. We walked a few times into the town and also used the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel. Staff were wonderful and always available, the room and pool were both very nice and it was very quiet and relaxing. We were a little dissapointed with the breakfast which did not cater for many European visitors ie it would have been nice to have the choice of a breakfast cereal. Some days we were given a menu for selection which meant that it was cooked individually for you, this was very enjoyable, other days however there was the normal buffet style breakfast however this was not monitored regularly and often dishes sat empty, no fresh toast, no orange juice etc.

Best Friend Retreat on Quiet Property.
Amazing resort! Everyone was so nice! Staff was amazing. Free breakfast was a plus and it left us ready to start the day. Pool is great and property was very quiet! Rooms were amazing and bathrooms were very comfortable with oversized tub and great shower. Free Area shuttle to city center was a great plus!

A hidden Gem
We can't speak highly enough about this Resort. Our large family had 4 rooms, and all were impeccable. Very clean, spacious and well appointed. Love the shower with open ceiling. I think its fairly new too, so all in fabulous condition. The kids soaked in the pool all day, while we enjoyed the poolside bar and deck chairs. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly and accommodating. We stumbled across the Saturday night Cultural Dinner at the Resort. A great evening, with fabulous entertainment and food, and it all got very interactive at the end of the night, which we loved and had a lot of laughs over. Its definitely worth doing for authentic Balinese dance and entertainment. Breakfast provided a fair variety, and the serving sizes were just right, and kept us going all morning. Location is great- its off the main road, but close enough to the main street of Ubud for a 20min walk into the main action including shops and monkey forest. We loved it here- keep up the great work and service

Place to relax
Very heartful welcome. Great hotel staff and hotel area. Cleanless a standart of this place is +++++ :) We enjoyed lovely breakfast and mel that they cook there. This place is 12min walk to begining of center of Ubud. But there is a free hotel shutle to the city. I can only recomend this place, best for people that want to have relax (in pool and spa) and then discover Ubud.

Very nice hotel in a quite area of Ubud
One of the best hotels we have stayed in Bali. Very clean, beautiful rooms, staff excellent, very helpful and polite. Great breakfast and very good food in restaurant.

Well worth a visit lovely hotel
This is a lovely small hotel the rooms and public areas are very clean and well kept the staff are very polite and helpful nothing is any trouble. The pool is great and the food is very good.The hotel is not in the town but a free shuttle bus is provided,it is nice and quite also a good base to explore from we hired a driver who was brilliant he picked us up from the hotel in the morning and dropped us off tea time ,so it was a nice place to unwind after exploring .whould highly recommend .
